  4. this is so true. purkit taba discrimination agad. sayang di siya pwede i-view sa public, i think maganda naman siya based sa trailer

  5. May point si tita.

    1. Sabihan kiya ng Panget? Ano pakiramdam? "Adjective" din yun...haha!

      Delete
    2. Oo nga. Hindi nga yan offensive kay Cai kasi very confident and comfortable siya sa built niya.

      Delete
    3. Although adjective sila Anon 1:04, eh hindi namin ginamit yung sa taba in a bad light, she's just describing herself.

      Delete
    4. 1:04 ang sabi nya "ang taba KO kasi" at hindi MO ginamit nya. see the difference? she was pertaining to HERSELF and not insulting others

      Delete

  13. Wag nga kayong plastik. Yeah it's the same as Payat, tangkad, liit and other adjectives. But it is also the same as Panget. Offensive pa rin. Kayo sabihan ng mataba for sure maiinis kayo.

      Delete
    3. Nope, definitely not the same. Hindi sila magkaparehas ng tinutukoy, one pertains to myself and the offending one pertains to YOU.

      Delete
    4. Huh? Since when is taba equated to pangit? It's a matter of perspective if a person finds it offensive nga. If a person is insecure sa built nya, then it becomes offensive sguro kasi guilty sya.

      Delete
    5. first of all 1:03 am, kelan pa naging same ang mataba at panget? pangalawa, bakit ka maiinis pag sinabihan kang mataba kung mataba ka naman talaga? mas nakakainsulto yung alam ng lahat na mataba ka tas sasabihan ka ng ang sexy sexy mo. lol. and last, hindi ako plastic. sadyang narrow minded ka lang! I think nasa paraan ng pagkakasabi yan ng tao, kung adjective or description. pero ang pinag-uusapan is title ng pelikula, so ano ngang masama sa "ang taba ko kasi!" nasaan ang hustisya bakit kelangan maging X rating?

      Delete
    6. That's the point of the movie... The perks of being mataba.

      Delete
    7. Eh bakit yung Diary ng Panget pinayagang ipalabas?

      Delete
    8. Eh pano naman yung diary ng panget?

      Delete
    9. So pano na yung "Diary ng Panget"?

And, hindi ka sinasabihan ng mataba. Ang title ay "Ang Taba *KO* Kasi". For all we know, socially relevant at may mensahe yung movie, thus the title. MTRCB should go beyond plain titles, I think.

      Delete

      Delete
  14. Baka naman it's not about the "word".

    ReplyDelete
  15. Kelan pa naging malaswa ang mataba?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Teh, walang nagsabi na malaswa ang mataba.. It is being recommended as X for strong offensive language/insult on the appearance of a person.

Although i dont agree with MTRCB, hindi naman pagiging malaswa ang issue dito.

      Delete

    ReplyDelete
  17. Because MTRCB has never been wrong in any of their decision! Also, they just want you to take it a step further, so as a tip, Cai, have a title that invokes social consciousness, and that's where Star Cinema excel. The titles they choose for their movie not only makes use of Sunday noontime top 10 songs from FM stations, but also has relevance to the movie. Go Star Cinema!

    1. dapat diary ng mataba?. :))

      Delete

      Delete
    3. dapat diary ng figuratively disfigured person

      Delete
    4. Cguro or anything similar. The title kc sounds like you're blaming yourself over a situation just because you're fat. Kaso yung title parang nega yung pagiging mataba. Pwede naman ibahin yung title na gamit pa din yung word na taba but not invoking self-blame. Like yun nga, diary ng mataba or kahit mataba ako.

As for me wala namang obscene sa or something na di dapat ipalabas to. Actually kung pagbabasehan mo ang trailer, may lesson pa na kahit mataba ka you can achieve something at hindi hindrance ang physique mo to make someone fall in love with just like yung iba na porke mataba or di kagandahan base sa standards nila eh di na deserve magka lovelife or magka work. Don't get me wrong guys, most of the companies here hinahire nila hindi based sa skills kundi sa PLeasing Personality at we all know what they mean by that. R13 pwede to eh specially ang daming kabataan ngayon na pinupush nila sarili nila to the edge kasi for them hindi sila maganda kasi mataba sila. Hello MTRCB nagets nyo ba message ng movie? Or kailangan nyo lang ng bayaran para ma grade A or B to? Just like Beauty and Bestie na mas maraming foul words.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Pero etiquette of mistresses kamusta?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Too many ignorant in this county. Taba is an insult in this society. Payat is a compliment, always. Nobody wants to be fat, everybody wants to be thin. Capish?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Anon 4:22 -- Paki explain ang "capish" mo teh, mali kasi.

Its important to know the words u are using before u use it especially if ur using with an attitude na mapagmataas and calling ppl ignorant.

Now, please look up the word "CAPISCE", baka yan ang ibig mong sabihin.

      Delete
    2. 4:22 you're being ignorant, too! It's case to case basis. Being called a "payat" is not always a compliment especially to people who are struggling with their weight. Although uncommon, it doesn't mean all people want to be called "payat". Don't generalize!

      Delete

      Delete
    4. Capish is filipinized version. Get with it.

      Delete
    5. Anon 12:55 Uhhhh.. Ok, if u say so!!

Gusto mo pala yung Filipinize version eh di sana tinagalog mo yung statement mo... Other than TABA and PAYAT, everything was written in English.

How hard is it to just accept na mali ang Capish mo?? Pero sige push mo yan and keep using ur Filipinize version... AND keep explaining urself to everyone who will tell u its wrong. Good luck teh! ;)

      Delete
  27. There is nothing wrong about. It's just like I am saying I am so fat as a matter of fact. Ok , so what?

    ReplyDelete
  28. It is offensive though! If someone tells me ang taba ko I will be offended.

    ReplyDelete
  31. may point ka cai. pero di na kita bet after that GTWM guesting. hehe

    ReplyDelete
NASA CONTEXT SILA NOH??? I salute them masyado na kasing twisted ang beliefs ng nakararami sa ngayon

    ReplyDelete
