Lubina is beautiful, but she's not good in Q and A. The question goes like "Which is more important", that means she has to choose. Never mind if she cannot express herself in fluent English but her answer is really incoherent. I don't think she'll win the title in the international contest. Furthermore, I think Marquez deserves even more; her answer is far better (not to mention she is more elegant). Lubina won the public sympathy for being a former kasambahay.

DeleteOMG!!! I think there will be changes with the results. Didn't #19 Christi Lynn McGarry already compete sa Miss Intercontinental nung 2010? Because she won in Mutya ng Pilipinas that year. So how can she represent us to the same pageant? In fact sabi sa wikipedia she made top 15 pa. Sana kasi sa Miss Universe na lang siya, mas bagay sya dun because of her height.

ReplyDeleteAng bet ko ay sina #11 and #34 pero ibinaba ko na ang expectations ko kay #11 pagkatapos ng Question & Answer portion. As for Winwyn Marquez, it's not fair na hindi siya nanalo just beacause of her height. Her answer was on-point. Walang paligoy-ligoy, walang pambobola. She has the right combination of grace and confidence. Nakapagtataka lang na hindi man lang siya binigyan ng crown.
Andaming nagsasabing sumali na lang ulit but I remember her saying this during the pre-pageant special shown on ABS a week before, na she wants to know kung kakayanin niya. Something like, it's about her knowing that she has what it takes to be a beauty queen. Kung hindi man makuha yung title, at least alam niyang kaya niya at naibigay niya yung 100% nya. It sounded like she's not the type of girl to make it a goal to join and join until she wins. Sayang lang talaga.

Truly! the Philippines is a powerhouse of beauty. Seeing all the candidates makes one proud to be a Filipino and justifies its relevance, giving hope and uplifting Filipino women to be more than what they can be; they study hard; take care of themselves for better life. Young girls look up to these ladies recognizing their worthiness as a woman. It's confident to claim that the Bb Pilipinas is well stocked with a healthy pool of representatives. Honestly, all those candidates can compete at any International Pageants " ON THE SPOT " no one was wasted. Even without a crown won lately at any global competition, it's pride enough for us Filipinos to know other countries feel threatened on every representative we send. Mabuhay ang Filipina!

ReplyDeleteYou have to be a Bb Pilipinas Alumna in order for you to bag the crown, that's the trend now obviously. Haha. Recycled winner. Pag inihilera na siya sa mfa latina sa Miss Universe, I doubt kung mag stand out yan. Her face dsnt justify the criteria they are talking about.

Parang masyado ding mahaba baba niya na parang lubog ilong pero hindi naman pango.

DeleteTake this as a constructive criticism. Kung saggy boobs or mataba man during the night, then she should really work harder to achieve the beauty queen figure and the goddess-like face. Medyo mataba nga sya tgnan pero she can still improve.
