For murder-suicide to happen, the elders must have felt too much desperation with the situation and that nothing else or nobody can help anymore. And that was when they decided that the family will go together...May the doctor recover from the trauma of losing people she adores this way.
It's so tragic and heartbreaking. It's like life imitates art. I saw this movie 10 years ago with Ben Kingsley (The house of sand and fog). Out of desperation, he killed his wife and himself to end his agony. :-(

I feel sad for the kids. I heard their daughter's a good kid. The kids were not given a chance to enjoy and build their own lives. Prayers for this family.

The neighbor should not blame herself for not seeing signs that her friends were already in a bad shape and was about to do something. May mga tao talaga na kahit anong problema they will not burden another people by telling them their problems. I know because I am one. Sinasarili lang din ang lahat. May they rest in peace
