i’m sorry, i temporarily disabled with no explanation & some got offended thinking they got blocked. i read several books on IKIGAI (google na lang please or else sobrang haba nito, but it reenforces my affinity for 🇯🇵 and my quest for peace & healing)... i’m directly quoting “in life we sometimes misplace priorities and significance... if you can make the process of the effort your primary source of happiness, then you have succeeded in the most important challenge of your life... The inner joys and satisfaction will be more than enough to make you carry on with your life.” Inaamin ko naman, when i get immersed in something i go all in- so i read 5 books on IKIGAI, re-read Marie Kondo’s books (The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up and Spark Joy), and now i’m reading Kintsugi Wellness. i also read books on HYGGE from the Danish, FIKA and LAGOM from the Swedish. books to help me be less stressed & appreciative of what’s here & now i devoured. what does all my reading have to do with my horror movie posters? in 🇸🇬 i asked myself what do i want to go back to that will encourage & inspire me to regularly do the water physiotherapy my doctors were all recommending? and this script was emailed to me. i won’t give specific details, mabait ang producers because i had asked to start in September when i feel my immunity can take on the physicality required, but for now i need to strengthen myself. thank you for your patience with me. i’m learning to exercise that with myself, too.

Must Bond Again

When talents fall into the trap of falling for each other for the sake of their careers, expect the relationship to be challenging. These days, young talents who are paired by management as loveteams are pressured to make their partnership real to appease fans and generate interest. While the strategy might have worked with certain couples, many do not work. At a young age, the celebrity-wannabees are expected to be tied up with another if they want to sustain a career in the industry.

Falling in love at the onset brings joy to couples, but unlike ordinary kids, showbiz personalities have to balance work with their personal matters. In movie making, everything is fictional, but in real life, actions are bound to create real feelings and complicate relationships, which reel-to-real couples are expected to handle smoothly.

The moment Influential Relative (IR) realized something is wrong between Young Actress (YA) and Savior Boyfriend (SB), she immediately tried to fix matters. IR told YA to humble herself and patch up things with SB. YA, however, was reluctant. IR reminded YA of the significance of SB in her career and at this point in their lives, they cannot afford a financial setback. IR fears that if YA and SB are officially over, professionally and personally, YA could suffer. Consequently, financial matters might hound their family, as IR’s benefactor has allegedly lessened his support due to unfavorable circumstances in his career. Hence, the family has to depend on YA.

IR made sure she covered all bases. Not only did she attempt to fix her own backyard, she even reached out to SB. IR stressed that she wanted YA and SB to give each other a second chance. SB said that such matter should not be forced. Nonetheless, SB assured IR that he will honor commitments he made that involved working with YA. In addition, SB revealed to IR that YA is too clingy and possessive that he could not breathe anymore. IR replied that she will talk to YA to thresh out her attitude Moreover, IR told SB that he wants him for YA. SB appreciated the gesture of IR and promised to do what he could.

Coco Martin is not losing hope Eddie Garcia could still recover from his current condition.

Garcia, 90, is currently in a “comatose state with minimal spontaneous respiration” after sustaining a severe cervical fracture when he tripped and fell while shooting a scene for a GMA 7 series last June 8.

As of Saturday, Garcia’s family has already agreed to place the actor under DNR or “do-not-resuscitate” status.

“Lo, alam ko kayang kaya mo iyan. Alam ko po na kung ano man itong nangyari sa iyo, alam ko na wala iyan. Malalampasan mo iyan. Huwag kang bibitiw,” Martin said as if talking to the veteran actor in a pre-recorded video aired on “Rated K” on Sunday.

“Lagi kaming nandito, nagmamahal sa 'yo, humahanga sa 'yo at nagdadasal. Alam namin na gagaling ka agad,” he added.

Up to this day, Martin said he could not wait to share the screen again with Garcia.

“Lahat kami naghihintay sa 'yo. Lahat kami nag-aabang ulit na magkasama tayo ulit sa trabaho, sa lahat ng mga okasyon. Sobrang mahal na mahal ka namin. Mahal na mahal ka ng industriya. Ikaw ang inspirasyon naming,” he said.

The two last worked together on the hit ABS-CBN series “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”

Napakasimple, tahimik," Martin said of Garcia. "Sabi ko nga bilang artista, sa edad ni Tito Eddie, sobrang nabilib kaming lahat. Siya 'yung tipong walang personal assistant, driver lang. Grabe 'yung pagmamahal niya sa trabaho, 'yung pagmamahal niya sa industriya. 'Yung pag-aalaga niya sa lahat ng mga proyektong ginagawa niya.”

For Martin, Garcia can be likened to a national treasure of the entertainment industry.
