Controversial Moves Led to More Questions

Throughout the past years, Adept Talent (AT) has had a steady career in the showbiz industry. While she worked her way up to her present status, her experiences that were witnessed by the public showed the good and the bad side of the business. Through her efforts, she established a name for herself and showed much promise as the next star. However, that was not the case as she dropped out of the limelight and her popularity dipped. As the cliché goes, a good talent is never let down. Thus, AT managed to land a slot in a show that assured her of sufficient exposure and name recall. AT was not flamboyant or did anything beyond her talent.
Unfortunately, when time came that AT acted on her decision, the aftermath unleashed rumors. Basically, the rumors focused on the reason why she had to leave her career. While the usual pregnancy story emerged, what proved interesting was the circumstance behind such issue. Allegedly, AT has a special arrangement with a Powerful Personality (PP) and their clandestine relationship was supposed to have been discovered by a family member. The family member then reported the discovery to the wife of PP (WP). WP then called the production and told the heads (TH) to remove AT given her justification.
Compounding the rumor is that WP made an even more disturbing discovery that led her to take such action. WP had a hint that something was amiss. Thus, WP conducted her own investigation and using her contacts confirmed the suspicion that the tryst between AT and PP had borne fruit. The reaction of WP was not pleasant and thus, made TH assure the former that the matter will be resolved. AT was dropped and was encouraged to escape the heat, as WP was furious. The mess was furthered aggravated because AT was alleged to have been given instructions to say goodbye to the potential scion. As to whether AT followed the advice, she was reported to have been in a location where such measures were legal.

Understanding the Missing Connections

Just as when Celebrity Performer (CP) thought she found the right man in Good-looking Talent (GT), time proved that he was not worth her time and sacrifices at all. After being together for a number of years, people thought that CP and GT will soon be tying the knot. With their successful careers and obvious love for each other, their relationship seemed to be secure. However, GT strayed. He alone knows why he gave in to temptation, which he thought he could keep hidden.
One night, GT had a tryst with a model. While things seemed settled and CP not knowing about his infidelity, an alleged revelation threatened their relationship. GT had to confess to his crime, as that one night allegedly brought fruit. GT was going to be a father. Thinking that CP would find it in her heart to forgive him, he owned up to what happened. Unfortunately, the hurt was too much and CP broke up with GT. Think about it, breakups happen because of a major reason and that reason would always have something to do with cheating.
Similarly, Adorable Idol (AI) thought he found the right one in Versatile Figure (VF), but he could not help himself. AI was making other women happy in the same way he was making VF joyful. Of course, he kept all these side encounters a secret, but a woman will always sense something was off. Out of frustration and even boredom, VF met up with a Male Celebrity (MC) and they even went to his secret place somewhere out of the city. AI was away for work at that time and his relationship with VF was already treading on soft ground.
Naturally, AI confronted VF, as he could not help but think that something happened between VF and MC. The discussion turned into an argument and soon each one was accusing the other of infidelity. Using MC as his weapon, VF retaliated that she knew about the other women, who were both involved behind the scenes. Thus, things were turning ugly.
As VF had time on her hands, she went on a trip with the hope that AI would follow. Instead, AI opted to stay put. At this time, AI and CP had to work together given that they were only in one station. As both were experiencing trouble in their relationships, constant talks and confiding in each other led to closeness. The bond was getting deeper. While things seemed to be perfectly hidden under the guise of professionalism, one of the women (OW) whom AI was secretly seeing, started to notice that AI was not as warm as before. One plus one equals the realization that AI was now focused on CP.
Behaving like she was the one who was scorned, OW got slighted at the developing relationship between AI and CP. Perhaps, OW thought she had AI wrapped around her finger just like so long ago. Time has matured AI and he knows women gravitate towards him.
Thus, OW revealed to VF that the relationship between AI and CP was more than professional. Hoping that she would keep AI, VF had to suffer from learning the truth – AI was slipping away. As to who gets the last laugh is ironic. GT has to move on, not knowing that he sort of triggered a series of unfortunate events. VF is still smarting from being dumped. MC, like the gentleman that he is, might be the shoulder to cry on for VF, but he’s already taken. Meanwhile, AI and CP, if indeed they have an eye for each other, must develop courage to face the public as a real couple. Finally, the foil, OW, whom no one thought could link all these painful narratives together.

Luis Manzano and Angel Locsin Call it Quits!

Similarly, rumors of the breakup of Cruz and Panganiban were already circulating late last year. However, neither party admitted that it was indeed over. When Panganiban went to the US for her vacation netizens noticed that she was alone. This situation raised alarm that something might be wrong between Cruz and Panganiban. However, the alleged formal breakup only happened this January.
Now, the strongest breakup story that is going around is between Luis Manzano and Angel Locsin. It will be recalled that Manzano and Locsin were already a couple for the first time. After they broke up, Manzano and Locsin ended up with Jennylyn Mercado and Phil Younghusband, respectively. Surprisingly, their new relationships were not subjected to bashing. However, after some time, Manzano broke up with Mercado for undisclosed reasons and Locsin called it quits with Younghusband as well.
Finding that both of them were single, Manzano and Locsin hooked up and rekindled their past romance. As both made a good-looking couple and seemed to be the perfect match, friends and fans hoped they would finally settle down. A few weeks ago, an uploaded photo showing their families together made fans hope that Manzano and Locsin will soon get married.
Ironically, when breakups of Kapamilya couples were finally admitted, fans worried that the next couple to admit that they were over would be Manzano and Locsin. Sadly, speculations that Manzano and Locsin have broken up were fuelled by observations of their nonverbal gestures when they have to be seen together in public, tips from confidential sources, and speculations from tweets coming from showbiz insiders.

Question: John Lloyd Cruz and Angelica Panganiban Call it Quits because of Bea Alonzo?

After rumors have reverberated over the past months, sources close to that couple say that John Lloyd Cruz and Angelica Panganiban have called it quits.
While no official reason has been disclosed, speculations have revolved around typical causes for couple breakups. First, lack of time was thought of as a reason given that both were busy with their projects. Cruz was on location for several movies, while Panganiban was busy with her role as Claudia in ‘Pangako Sa ’Yo.’ Second, some storied have alluded to jealousy as one of the culprits. Third, Cruz and Panganiban might have just fallen out of love.
A few weeks ago, talks of the breakup were gaining ground because Panganiban went abroad alone, while Cruz remained in the country promoting his movies, ‘A Second Chance’ and ‘Honor Thy Father.’ The breakup rumor was further fuelled by stories of the alleged closeness of Cruz and box-office movie partner, Bea Alonzo, who is also rumored to have broken up with Zanjoe Marudo.
Will Cruz or Panganiban shed light on the matter soon?
