Repost: 'The Bear,' 'Succession,' 'Beef' Lead Winners of Emmys

The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, television's biggest night, have officially come and gone. Wondering if any of your fave shows, actors, writers, or directors are Emmys 2024 winners? Keep scrolling to see the full list of winners and who made a splash — or a sweep — at the delayed ceremony.
As mentioned above, the 2024 Emmys were, in actuality, the postponed 2023 Emmys. The ceremony was finally broadcast live from the newly renamed Peacock Theater in Downtown L.A. on Monday, January 15, 2024. This year's show was hosted by actor, comedian, and game show host Anthony Anderson, and the recognition window for television programming was between June 1, 2022 and May 31, 2023.
Halfway through the night, host Anderson jokingly called the show “the Chocolate Emmys" — but seriously, the 2023 Emmys were a big night for Black women and people of color. Friends Ayo Edebiri and Quinta Brunson won the first Emmy awards of the night back-to-back, making history as the only Black women to ever win Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy in the same year. The Bear, Beef, and Succession swept the majority of their respective categories, Elton John achieved EGOT status, and Ali Wong became the first Asian woman to win an Emmy for a lead acting role in any category.
See the complete list of Emmys 2024 winners (well, technically Emmys 2023 winners) below.

No Remorse

When Network Actress (NA) was paired with Budding Actor (BA), sparks flew professionally. The management was happy that the right decision was made given that BA was not the first choice. NA and BA gave fans something to gush over and look forward to their projects. Working together developed their feelings towards each other. Despite BA’s reputation that contrasted with NA’s, they hit it off.
Typically, when fans found out that their relationship was not only in front of the cameras, BA showed that he could be a gentleman. His public way of making sure NA was safe earned admiration. Fans believed they were meant for each other.
Even if their relationship was going strong, BA still could not keep his eyes from wandering. One time, BA found a fan attractive. Immediately, BA asked for the fan’s number with the intention of having a date. Before anything could happen, NA caught BA, thwarting any plans he had with the fan.
Years later, BA had not changed. Through a friend, BA met a non-showbiz woman with whom he was enamored. Allegedly, this story reached NA, and it was probably serious enough for her to call it quits. Alas, BA asked for another chance and for them to fix their relationship.
‘Some things just couldn't be protected from storms. Some things simply needed to be broken off...Once old things were broken off, amazingly beautiful things could grow in their place.’ ― Denise Hildreth

She Got Away

As a newbie, TT caught the attention of Influential Actor (IA) at that time. IA got attracted to TT and invited her to go out with him. Any new talent would have grabbed the chance to hang out with IA, as his presence could spell magic to the career of anyone who was just starting out in the industry. While IA thought he could become closer to the new TT, his moves were thwarted. TT bravely turned him down. Apparently, his handler advised her not to stick to IA as she had her own path to follow for her career.
Try and try until you succeed could have been IA’s motto as years passed. TT had matured in the industry, yet IA had not given up on her. So, IA decided to give it another try. While TT had already made herself exclusively date Handsome Actor (HA), IA seemed to have ignored that fact and continued to pursue her. With maturity came wise choices, as TT once again turned him down. TT was aware that IA was no longer single and she had much respect for relationships. Luckily, nothing came out of IA’s effort.
Given the attempt of IA to get a date with TT, she and HA opted to keep quiet about IA’s persistence. Instead of telling IA’s partner of a red flag, TT and HA did not talk. Sadly, the silence of TT then has reaped its consequence in the present.
‘Best way to get away from negative feelings and emotions is to involve ourselves without getting involved. It comes by practice and is beneficial for our health; be it physical, mental, emotional or spiritual.’ — Mahesh Babu
