With the explosion in social media of discovering breakthrough talents, mainstream players are on the lookout for a cut in the pie of the next big personality. Of course, newbies who start their careers via social media have in mind the goal of going mainstream to achieve wide fame.
Many talents have been discovered and singled out because industry movers saw their potential as moneymakers in the industry. Thus, many have responded to offers and allowed themselves to be taken care of as far as their career is concerned. Contracts are signed and bookings made to increase the reach of the talents.
Unfortunately, regret for some comes when these signed talents realize what they have gotten into. First, their movements have to conform according to the conditions set by their mainstream managers. Second, their creativity is affected as they might have to keep within the image set for them. Finally, the financial aspect becomes a considerable factor. Apparently, prior to being managed, the talents get their social media earnings fully. However, as signed talents, the management gets a huge share of their earnings. Sadly, the practice is ongoing and talents could only think twice if being managed by the big industry players is the best way for their careers.

Quietly making the rounds of the entertainment arena is the alleged resignation of Trusted Staff (TS) of Female Celebrity (FC). TS have served FC for quite a while and are important to making sure FC’s needs to always look pretty are met. In FC’s line of work, projecting a beautiful image is important as she is a public figure.
Allegedly, TS had enough of how they were treated by FC. TS could no longer handle the attitude of FC and thus, instead of gaining resentment, leaving FC was the better option. Besides, the staff felt that by controlling when they need to return home, such as during emergencies, was too much.
However, TS had to endure the acts of FC, which troubled their conscience. Whenever FC went on dates with Alleged Lover (AL), TS would be brought along. TS had to accompany FC to strengthen the ruse in case someone important makes a call to check on her. Also, seeing FC and AL with other persons prevented people who see them not think something other than business was going on.
While going on a date with a chaperone is not extra-ordinary, in FC’s case to be seen with AL in public casually and without TS would definitely trigger gossip. A mere social media post with the two could lead to a scandal. Why, you may ask? FC is a married woman, whose husband has been supportive of her endeavors. To be seen publicly with a man other than the husband could indeed lead to FC being on the headlines for weeks.
