Will Mikhael Hopes To Have A Wonderful Summertime With His Special Island Girl In 'Swing By To You'
You can now bring the ultimate summer vibe everywhere! The young Cebuano singer-songwriter Will Mikhael has unveiled his new original single “Swing By To You” to the world and it’s a bop indeed!
According to the Cebu-based artist, the summer season inspired him to do this song.
Will recalls “this song came about when I was having a blast one summertime. I experienced what it felt like to be on a pristine, beautiful beach and having a wonderful time with my family. And while I was enjoying myself, I thought of a record that would get people to dance and vibe along to, and in that moment, everything just clicked right into place especially with me being in that summer vibe.”
Drawing inspiration from legendary artists like Santana, Will has crafted a track that seamlessly blends those magical Latin type rhythms with modern pop sensibilities that he possesses.
“During that time, I was also listening to Carlos Santana’s music and I felt inspired by his songs and said to myself, ‘I need something like this.’ That’s the initial idea of Swing By To You. “
He adds, ”Santana’s influence clearly shows in this R&B beat combined with a nylon guitar and latin type melodies and rhythm.”
And to top it off, what better way to bring this song to life by putting in his shrewd little twist through sprinkling some Cebuano lyrics in the mix, along with a flirty moment with the “island girl” mentioned in the song lyrics. (LISTEN HERE)

I would like to issue a statement about my health status by firstly apologizing to my teammates, some coaches, the PBA, the fans, the media and even some friends. As most of you are aware I have been nursing a minor injury since the Finals last January. I used that as the reason for my sudden absence. My sincerest apologies to all.
With my profession in sports tied in health and entertainment, it will be very difficult to keep the real reason a secret any longer and will only lead to unnecessary gossips, fake news & misinterpretations.
As an official statement -
I was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer. The initial testing three weeks ago led me to instantly miss practices and games. I have completed my surgery last week and will soon undergo treatment for the next few months.
I have given not only 17 full years to the PBA, but have dedicated my whole life to basketball. I have committed my body and health for the love of the game. It has been my passion and love. Sadly, there are things beyond one's control. But with my FAITH, I am lifting everything to God now and I believe there is a higher purpose as I go through this part of my life. I am not yet retiring from the game I love, and with the help of the best doctors in the Philippines and Singapore, I BELIEVE i can touch a basketball once more and return stronger.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the people who have been helping me in this journey. I am truly blessed to be part of the San Miguel Family - Boss RSA's undying support and sincere care has been truly a Godsend. Boss Alfrancis Chua - my family and I appreciate you, thank you for everything.
Lastly, to all, as much as I greatly appreciate everyone's well-wishes and messages of support and prayers - for my children's well-being, in this social media and internet era, I am humbly asking everyone's respect for my family to go through this journey privately and discreetly as much as possible. Together with my family and loved ones, you are all my strength, inspiration and what drives me to be the best person I can ever be, physically, mentally, and spiritually. I will see everyone very, very soon.

Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin are considering taking strong measures against fake news.
Previously on March 15, a video was posted on YouTube claiming that Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin got a divorce by mutual agreement. The YouTuber also claimed in the video that Hyun Bin gambled abroad, causing Son Ye Jin to suffer financial loss, which led the two to break up.
Hyun Bin’s agency VAST Entertainment shared on March 20, “[The YouTuber’s claims are] groundless. It is fake news. We are constantly monitoring the rumors. We plan to take legal action after an internal review.”
Son Ye Jin’s agency MSteam Entertainment also remarked, “This is obviously fake news. We are constantly monitoring [the situation] internally, and we have already requested YouTube to delete the video. We will take strong measures, and we also plan to take legal action in relation to the content [of the video].”
Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin tied the knot in March 2022 and welcomed their first child in November of the same year.
