Seasoned Actress (SA) started her showbiz career at a time when teenagers were deciding which career to pursue. Belonging to a talented family, SA chose to develop her acting skills. While she followed the usual sing and dance path, it was her acting that eventually made her star shine brightly.
SA was also paired with her contemporaries, but no loveteam lasted. She and her screen partners subsequently pursued diverse paths. SA’s staying power was commendable as she did not have any lead star complex. Regardless of her role, she gave her best.
Meanwhile, her personal life was not as exciting as her contemporaries. Sometimes her choice of partner resulted in controversy, but love wins. SA eventually settled down and not much was heard about her marriage. The marriage was even questioned years later. However, SA and her husband denied the separation rumors then.
Nonetheless, several sightings of SA in a popular hangout down south have been raising eyebrows. From time to time, SA would be seen in the venue checking in with different young men allegedly. Onlookers could not help but label her as a cougar and having a taste for the younger generation. Age does not matter for SA as long as she’s being entertained perhaps.

Jessi, SB19, Denise Julia and more join lineup
88rising today announced the surprise inclusion of international artist Jessi to the lineup of Head In The Clouds Music & Arts Festival in Manila.
This unveiling followed the social media teaser last week on an artist name indicated as “????” when Denise Julia, August 08, Manila Killa and SB19 were revealed as acts who will perform at the festival, slated at the SM Festival Grounds in Parañaque City.
In October it was announced that the inaugural Head In The Clouds Music & Arts Festival in Manila will feature a stellar range of global and local talent including headliners Joji, Jackson Wang, NIKI, Rich Brian, eaJ, and YOASOBI. This year’s festival will also showcase performances from BIBI, MANILA GREY, Ylona Garcia, ATARASHII GAKKO!, MILLI, Zack Tabudlo and many more; plus special guest Grammy-winning hitmaker and electronic producer ZEDD.
Head in the Clouds Manila is proudly presented by Globe Telecom, with GCash as a major sponsor. Additional sponsors include GOMO, Johnnie Walker, Heineken, Y.O.U Beauty, Pacific Synergy, AirAsia and Riot Games.

Owning art pieces is a timeless gauge of status and worthy investment. Private and celebrity art collectors are on the lookout for works that could appreciate in value over time. Confident artists take advantage of such trends to earn and establish their name and reputation.
A Local Artist (LA) is slowly but surely carving her place in the art world. LA has been dabbling in art for quite a time. LA started her love for art as a hobby, which subsequently turned into her passion. Soon, her work was noticed and the value was recognized. Several showbiz celebrities have expressed their admiration for the works of LA and some have been rumored to have become owners of her early pieces.
Sometime ago, LA put her new works on the market. Taking advantage of the opportunity, LA determined and marked the prices for her pieces. Although LA has a name and followers of her art, the gallery wondered why no one was buying her works. No one showing interest in LA seemed impossible.
The zero sales would be bad and an embarrassment for LA. The gallery had to check the situation. A strategy was planned and LA was allegedly advised that the market was not yet ready for the prices she wanted for her work. Hence, the prices had to be more realistic and reasonably within the pockets of buyers. LA obliged. Thus, after the exhibit, LA sold out her pieces and the gallery was happy. A sold-out status was far better than zero sales for her emerging name in the art world.
