Manny Pacquiao Releases Movie Against Asian Hate Crimes

Eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao has Executive Produced a  movie to raise awareness of Asian hate crimes titled “Almighty Zeus”, which will have a theatrical release in selected  theaters starting December 2, 2022. Pacquiao says, "I hope this movie will encourage and Inspire a lot of people,  not only In America but all over the world. I hope It encourages people to spread love Instead of hate." Here’s  Manny Pacquiao’s interview with CBS LA on Executive Producing Almighty Zeus:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-7-lxFqSWs

Written, Directed, and Produced by Chris Soriano, who also stars as the main actor, the goal of the film is to  showcase unity through the sport of boxing. The story focuses on the middleweight champion of the world losing  his mother to COVID-19 and ends up challenging an Asian American boxer (Zeus) to punish in the ring. Zeus  encounters a neighborhood boxing legend, Coach Green, who decides to take Zeus under his wing and teach him  fight tactics through the dangerous streets of Los Angeles.

Soriano began filming during the pandemic and incorporated real hate crimes that happened to Asian Americans  in his film. Soriano felt the need to tell this story in hope it will shine light on how the country could deal with racism  toward minorities. His goal is to promote peace. The co-lead actor in the film is a Black American, Coach Green.  Soriano hopes that this film will showcase unity with the journey both characters go through.

Chris Soriano (Zeus) and Miguel Matos (Coach Green) are available for interviews at any time.

Award-winning actress Nadine Lustre has said that she has no problem working with former boyfriend James Reid for future projects.

“We will see. We don’t know what to expect. That’s what I’ve been telling everyone. If it’s a good project, why not? I’m a very collaborative person. Hindi naman kami magka-away,” said Nadine, when asked about possible collab with James, despite the breakup, during the press conference for her upcoming horror flock “Deleter,” an official entry to the 2022 Metro Manila Film Festival, held at Vertis North in Quezon City on Nov. 22.

But Nadine has a special message to diehard fans who are still hopeful that she and James will reunite as sweethearts. “2023 na po. It’s time for us to start a new chapter.”

Nadine and James broke up in January 2020 after four years of being together.

James is currently based abroad where he manages the career of Kapamilya star Liza Soberano and engaged in other projects.

The Urian best actress awardee is the rumored girlfriend of French businessman Christophe Bariou who is based in Siargao.

Nadine said she is so proud of her latest movie, her first horror film. “This is one project that I can say I’m really proud of. It’s different from the other projects I’ve done because this is my first full-length horror movie.”

Asked what took her so long to accept a horror movie, Nadine: I guess I just waited for the right project. A lot of my projects are drama and rom-com. Hindi talaga nangyayari yung horror film. But I’ve been vocal about wanting to do other genres like action films, horror.”

On looking good and stunning these days, Nadine commented: “I’ve learned to enjoy life to the fullest. Life is hard but we have to learn to go with the flow. I don’t stress out and chill lang talaga ako lately.”
