Wise Confidant (WC) was surprised when Giddy Friend (GF) contacted her about her blooming love life. Dashing Actor (DA) reached out to GF out of the blue. Although they belonged to the same management, GF considered DA as someone who would not notice her at all, as they were busy with their commitments. But there he was, befriending her.

Soon, DA and GF were exchanging messages. GF was falling for DA’s charms. Feeling comfortable, GF asked DA about his relationships. DA said he was single and any actress linked to him was just for publicity. GF could not believe that DA was so honest.

When WC listened to GF, she noticed red flags. WC felt DA was going to use GF to widen his reach. The audience of GF can very well benefit DA. However, such might not be vice-versa. WC advised GF to take things easy, as DA might have an agenda for suddenly giving her attention. WC reminded GF to look into his past and learn from it.

GF paused and thought deeply. She took WC’s words seriously, as she was unsure of the real reason why DA came into her life. Trusting WC more, GF hardly replied to DA’s messages. When she did, she gave excuses that she’s busy with her career assignments.

When a career is at stake, strategies fall into play. Network Talent (NT) learned that changes in a show might affect everyone in the production. NT realized his career might be in jeopardy if he does not make his move carefully.

An opportunity came for NT to share his thoughts when he heard some production members talking about possible changes. NT allegedly said that a Co-worker (CW) was not well liked based on audience feedback. Someone agreed with NT.

However, another voice was heard in support of CW. The support made everyone quiet. During the discussion, the matter of resource allocation came up. Apparently, someone has to go to make room for other people. NT proposed that the choice of whom to let go should be based on seniority. The implication is that CW would be the first out if that were the criteria. However, the management has the final say.

Meanwhile, CW got wind of how NT seemed to thumb her down. She did not take it kindly as she thought everyone was sincere in their relations. Nonetheless, CW was assured that changes will not affect her.

It is the season of movement, that is, talents are changing their management or returning to their former stations. However, others are staying put and adopting a wait and see attitude for the best opportunity for their careers.

Male Actor (MA) asked Fellow Talent (FT) about the possibility of finding work in a vibrant workplace. FT advised MA to think very well before making any commitment to a new management. Based on his experience, FT feels that a talent can be underutilized at his current home. Before, FT would be included in projects, even in minor roles. Lately, his roles have been limited, which he understood as the pandemic has severely affected acting gigs.

FT shared that his career path seemed to be tied with a loveteam formula. Thus, his next project would have to fit his reel partner as well. FT has to play the waiting game for that ideal break. FT said MA has to avoid such path if he wants to grow in his career as a solo performer. As MA was not really firm in his decision yet, he is still mulling over his career move in the future.

Common Friend (CF) noticed that Appealing Dude (AD) was not at the gym that day. AD’s absence made CF check on him. AD said he missed out training because he had a visitor at his home. CF pressed on until AD admitted he was entertaining a woman. During the video call, CF recognized AD was with a Female Actress (FA). AD said that CF should not make a big deal out of FA’s presence, as she was just venting out her problems.AD then talked about how he and FA became friends. AD and FA met at their workplace. Given that AD was already established, it was not surprising that FA would follow him in his social media accounts. After a few meetings, they exchanged numbers and the visits became frequent. AD did not want a commitment and was fine with FA.

CF thought of Lovestruck Pal (LP) and asked how he was. LP said that he was fine and in love with FA. CF asked about FA and he said she was chilling at home. CF subsequently revealed what AD told him and showed the screengrab.

When LP and FA met, he showed her the screengrab. Shocked, FA attempted to explain, but LP would not hear any of it. FA patiently sent messages to tell LP that she and AD are just friends and have no malice between them. Besides, she and AD might even have the same interests. Although her explanations are falling on deaf ears, FA remains optimistic that she and LP will be able to fix things.

Involved Celebrity (IC) confided to a friend about her disinterest in intrigues that seemingly involve her. IC said that her happiness is far more important than spending time responding to intrigues, especially if any of her friends are mentioned as well.

IC could not understand why Her Coworker (HC) seemed unable to move on from certain issues. IC knows HC well, that is, her real self is different from her reel image. IC was made aware of tactics being used by HC’s camp, but she does not care at all.

They had the same beginnings but their celebrity careers branched out in diverse directions. However, when HC had the advantage early on, IC asked to be included in projects. HC never replied. IC felt bad to the point of depression. Since then, IC vowed to catch or even surpass HC.

As the conversation ended, the friend realized IC hedged from answering the intrigue that linked her to HC. IC said someone important was calling her and she had to say bye to her friend.
