When Baffled Performer (BP) found out Pretty Guest (PG) was performing, she wanted to say “Hi!” to her friend. However, she did not expect to feel a sensation at seeing her fellow female. BP was shocked when she felt something when she chanced upon PG changing in the dressing room. BP immediately calmed herself, as her surprised feelings confused her sexuality.
Secretly, when BP sees attractive women during shows, she would visit dressing rooms to satisfy her visual cravings. The incident with PG was a wakeup call that made BP decide to avoid similar incidents and temptations. BP wanted to suppress further her attraction to the same sex and the best way she could think of was to stay away from situations, which included work. Sexuality might not be a major issue for many. For BP, coming out could mean disaster. BP is in a solemn relationship and pursuing her feelings is unfair to her male partner who loves her dearly.
The decision of BP to skip performances became a problem for her team, as they had no idea what was troubling the talent. Thus, they asked Her Friend (HF) to ask if BP was okay. HF listened as BP poured her heart out and narrated the incident with PG and her backstage behavior. BP shared to HF that she thought having a heterosexual relationship would stop her female attraction and make her 'straight'. HF told BP that the more she hides her nature, the more difficult her situation will be. BP should go with the flow and let it be. In addition, HF told BP to seek counselling to flesh out her sexuality issues.
