Such Discontent

While on the set, the production team was surprised that Respected Actress (RA) was ranting at the way things were proceeding. RA seemed irritated at the slightest lapses. However, the production team had to step up their work so as not to make RA get into one of her moods.

The rest of the cast has already found out about the rants of RA and they only could learn from her and respect her. RA has been working in the industry longer than most of them and she deserves attention. Her rants may have certain validity from which the young ones may learn. Furthermore, they found out that RA already wanted out. However, getting her out of the project would be very difficult at the present stage of the narrative.

As the rants were mostly her gripes about the production, one of her complaints was a sensitive matter. RA could not contain her disgust at Woman Colleague (WC). RA and WC need to work together in a scene, which involves a lot of talking. RA said that she could no longer take the smell that is allegedly coming out of the mouth of WC. The issue was sensitive and those who heard RA ranting were at a loss as to how to tell WC without offending her.

The tapings went on as scheduled and RA still stayed in the program. No rumors have circulated about her character being axed, as her role is pivotal to the story. If RA’s character disappears, the writers would need to plan carefully how to remove her without affecting the project. Despite the numerous complaints of RA, the production team has no choice but to work professionally until the project ends.
