Struggling Actress (SA) finally followed the advice of getting back in the groove by seeking opportunities for work. Recognized among the highly-skilled actresses of her generation, times have led to her being in the freezer for personal and professional reasons.
Over the years, SA has focused on raising her family and addressing issues that have come her way. Rather than force herself to work, SA opted to find solutions to what matters most at the moment, that is, her well-being. Although SA might not have projects, she remains visible via social media.
One day, SA and her Main Patron (MP) had a talk. MP presented the changes in her life that might affect the support she has been giving to SA. MP allegedly told SA to find work and give her connections a call. A good talent will never be turned down. With confidence SA heeded MP and made that possible life-changing call.
The waiting game started and SA could not push her follow-ups, as she knows competition is tougher these days than the years when she was the favorite. Finally, the call came and work was going to be given to her. However, the heads set a condition. Allegedly, SA was asked to produce medical proof that she was fit to work. With high costs these days, the producers did not want to risk their investment due to delays resulting from excuses, such as health conditions.
For most talents, producing the needed piece of paper is easy, but for SA, it was not. Apparently, SA did not finish her prescribed therapy. Instead of finishing her program, SA opted to double dose on her medicines. Allegedly, such was not done with the consent of a medical practitioner. With one major condition before she could start regaining her status, the question is if SA would be able to overcome this hurdle.
‘I think everybody has tragedy in their life. Everybody has hurdles in their life. Everybody has tough things to overcome. My kids say to me, 'This isn't fair.' I said, 'Life isn't fair.' Everybody has their issues. It's how you handle your issues that distinguishes you.’ – Maria Shriver
