Making a Gamble

Inevitably, the actions of Promising Talent (PT) seem to indicate her close sacrificing of her career over her choice for a lover. PT has been reminded by the higher ups to tone down posts on her alleged relationship with Competent Actor (CA). Although PT and CA have yet to admit formally the relationship they share, sightings and personal posts point to the sign that love is in the air and their getting to know you stage has long been over.

When PT started in her network, she was touted as a potential star and was given projects that were impressive for a young talent. Other than projects, she had various photoshoots and the network tried to drum up interest in her career. Initially, things were going well and PT was indeed on her way to reaching her goal. Although plans did not turn out as expected, the marked roles continued to land on her lap.

Meanwhile, CA showed his potential as an impressive actor with his effective portrayal of various roles that ranged from stereotypes to unconventional characters. His talent was noticed by fans and critics alike.

Outside of their networks, PT and CA moved in almost the same circles. Youth as their advantage, the two hit it off. However, the major problem was that they were on the opposite side of the fence. This situation did not stop CA from pursuing PT. It did not matter if PT were being groomed to be with a network talent, CA made his moves and PT fell for it.

When the management noticed that PT was posting much about her days with CA in her account, she was reminded to slow down. Her postings were bound to affect the planned partnerships the network was preparing for her. Sadly, PT allegedly ignored the essence of the memo and continued to share her happiness with CA. The question is if PT’s gambling her career worth her feelings for CA and if he would give as much sacrifice as PT.
