Misguided Attitude

Attitude is one trait that has often been relegated for someone who can deliver in terms of talent, ratings, and box-office sales. Many celebrities have built a career out of being rude toward other co-stars and even the public. Some fans like their idols feisty and one who would curse or lambast others either live or in social media. Nonetheless, for many networks, if someone is able to meet expectations, attitude can be pushed aside.
Versatile Talent (VT) found her home with the network that allowed her to explore her capabilities as an actress. Her network gave her various roles and her effective portrayals led to bigger projects as well as gaining more fans. Soon, the network saw her potential to become one of their reliable stars and thus, her projects came one after the other.
Behind the scene stories claim that VT’s character is far from her nice looks. When the cameras are not rolling, VT has an aloof personality and an attitude that has turned off many co-workers. Instead of mingling with co-workers, VT stays in her space and budges only when she needs to shoot for her scenes. However, VT has to be called, not once, not twice, but many times. Thus, people get the impression that VT wants to be regarded as important as the network’s homegrown, bankable talents.
Unlike her contemporaries, VT easily revealed her image to the public. Although her personality can be regarded as crude, her followers call such attitude as being real. Still, not many of her co-workers buy into that notion. For most, they would prefer a nicer version of VT.
Incidentally, some fans are wondering as to why VT seems to have continuous projects and act like a diva considering that her latest ventures have not really performed well in ratings. Some have even called her ‘flop queen.’ Despite all these ideas, the network still favors VT.

Covering Up the Misery

Trouble is brewing in paradise, or so it seems. When Popular Personality (PP) moved on with Current Partner (CP), fans, family, and friends were happy that he finally found someone who could bring him better perspective in life. Moreover, CP added a different level to the status of PP. Their partnership was given much hope, as PP seemed to have mellowed down. Together with CP and their kids, they exhibited a good family image.
However, years and several kids later, PP seems to have wandered off again and this time, he claims, it was an accident. Despite sharing a life with CP, PP cannot seem to keep his pants zipped up tight. This time, his latest exploit is Allegedly Someone (AS) who works close to his profession.
Perhaps, CP would have been out of touch had it not been for Her Friend (HF) who spotted PP and AS step out of an Ob-gyn clinic. HF quickly took a photo and sent it to CP. As soon as PP arrived home, CP confronted him over the photograph. PP denied the accusations initially, but CP was getting hysterical and her voice was loud enough to alarm neighbors. PP, caught red-handed, admitted that AS was indeed pregnant and he was the father. It was an accident, as he claimed, and he had no intentions to leave CP and their kids. However, CP was extremely angry and told PP to leave. He did.
For several weeks, the two lived apart. PP was sorry, but CP was still reeling from the betrayal. One day, the two talked and decided to set aside the matter and project that they are still one happy family. Their motivation was to avoid being ridiculed by someone who had been close to PP, who certainly would be forced to share her thoughts once the PP-AS incident leaks.
