Statement of Ilocos Norte Tourism Office on Moira Dela Torre Issue

The facts are simple- we invited Miss Moira dela Torre to perform her hits and not to play politics. She accepted the gig and we respectfully hosted her here until she left. The venue was packed with gracious Ilocanos who were excited to see her before the devastation of Ompong. Photos and videos will show that Moira had fun on stage, not a hint of unwillingness to perform. We never expected that she would tweet that she is angry for performing at Marcos Fest while we are inundated with the damage of Ompong. Remove all politics and cultural subjectivities and you get the basic and simple issue of courtesy, reciprocal decency, and common sense.

When Desirable Actor (DA) decided that the time was right to commit himself to Talented Personality (TP), he probably did not anticipate how much of his nature he had to give up. Having a partner means making decisions while considering the other, which is very different from the bachelor life DA had before falling hard for TP. Now, all his commitments have to be done without upsetting TP.
Such rule is not easy to follow, especially, when circumstances dictate the flow of events and one is left at the mercy of the moment. During an event, TP came over to support DA. Although she was visible, the night belonged to DA. Prior to coming to the event, TP had anticipated what would happen the moment DA starts walking to the venue. Thus, she instructed the bodyguards to make sure DA would be protected from the poking, pinching, touching, and most specially, the kissing of fans.
The moment arrived and TP decided to stay in the background but kept an eye on DA. As soon as DA appeared, the hordes of female fans were unstoppable. Screams sounded and as predicted, DA was poked, pinched, touched, and kissed by his supporters. TP watched in dismay, as the bodyguards failed to do their jobs. What infuriated TP was not the helplessness of the bodyguards, rather, the reaction of DA arose in TP streaks of jealousy. DA seemed to be enjoying the moment and did not mind the squeezing of his female fans.
As the event progressed, TP stayed with friends until the end. The night was successful and DA did a good job. So, another round of fans came over to congratulate DA for a job well done. TP watched keenly as DA reciprocated the endearment. TP was so dismayed but she could not make a scene at a very public event.
After seeing how DA reacted, TP was displeased and did not want any one else touching her baby. Hence, she told DA that he should skip the after-event party. Poor DA, while his presence would mean so much to the people at the party, he followed TP and went home.

Is Marian Rivera Pregnant?

Recent photo shows that Marian Rivera seems to have a baby bump, prompting speculations that Zia would soon become a big sister. While no confirmation or official announcement has been released by the Dantes family, their followers are excited at the possible date with the stork.
A few months ago, Rivera has been vocal in saying that she and husband, Dingdong Dantes, are trying to have a baby. Zia is three years old and the couple feels that the time is right to have a second child. Rivera even expressed that she wanted another child as her birthday gift (Rivera celebrated her birthday in August) and that she would want a bigger family.
According to sources, the Dantes couple are waiting for the doctor’s go-signal that Rivera is indeed pregnant before they make the official announcement. Allegedly, they do not want to make any premature declarations so as not to be stressed out by the pressure and avoid a similar incident that happened to another celebrity couple, who had to deal with their loss.

Crushed Again

While love may be sweeter the next time around, frustration and bitterness can set in once expectations are realized to be forlorn. At the time when Heartbroken Celebrity (HC) was healing her heart, her Knight in Shining armour (KS) entered the picture. HC saw the goodness of KS and they started to connect. The connection was not what HC had expected.
For many years, HC and KS drifted along their careers and neither had any idea then that they would click with each other again later. Both talented, HC and KS took different paths in their careers. HC stayed visible in various projects. Like any celebrity who has been in the business for many years, the career of HC reached its peak and subsequently plunged. Similarly, her heart has gone through many peaks and many disappointments. Now, KS has entered her life.
As KS has always been in the entertainment industry, his star was not as bright as his contemporaries who entered later after he did. Although a competent actor, KS could not compete in terms of physique and looks then. Somehow, he could not exude that appeal. However, talent can never be put down. From a career that seems to be going nowhere, KS found his spot. Not only was his talent recognized, but his appeal rose and he seems to be enjoying a second wind.
Thus, when KS realized HC might be needing a shoulder to cry on, he came over. More mature and more directed, the two hit it off. People were happy that they seemed to be enjoying each other’s company. Again, the heart of HC beat faster with the hope that KS might be the one. KS seemed to reciprocate as well.
One day, KS received a call and the message was bound to break someone’s heart. Allegedly, his non-showbiz fling was productive and he was about to become a father. KS was ready to forget about this woman and focus on HC, but getting her pregnant made him think twice. With the positive feedback for him and HC, the question is if KS will acknowledge in public his current state. HC might again feel that she almost found the one, but he seems to be not the perfect man for her. Time moves and so do the travails of her heart.
