Missing Man

Imagine your significant other leaving you the moment you needed him/her, as you undergo trying times. The years you spent together went down the drain and you are left devastated. Thus, is the situation the Non-showbiz Girlfriend (NG) faced when Comebacking Actor (CA) left her.
CA and NG have been together for several years before the day he walked away from their relationship. NG was left hurt and confused as she did not ever imagine that NG would just end their connection. Added to these feelings were thoughts of being used not only by CA but that of his handlers as well.
After establishing his name in the entertainment industry, CA left to find himself and other opportunities. He was at the awkward stage then and had to make that decision to leave the industry behind to join his family. The call to rejoin the industry was loud and CA found himself back to his first love. While enjoying anonymity as a private citizen, former fans recognized CA while he was working. They noticed that CA has indeed done a lot of growing up and they were sure his former network would welcome him with open arms. The fans were right.
The former network of CA took the gamble and CA was given a comeback project. Although he was just one of the important members of the cast, CA was reintroduced to the local audience, who received him warmly. The novelty of watching a returnee was popular with the viewership.
However, to pave the way for his return, the relationship of CA and NG was highlighted. The emotional appeal was strong, as CA was portrayed as a responsible boyfriend. Months after his comeback project was aired, NG was diagnosed with a life-changing disease. If left unabated, the disease could take a life.
NG is still young, pretty, and facing many opportunities ahead of her. Nonetheless, treating the ailment has to be attended to first. While treatable and many celebrities have overcome the ailment, support was much needed. Alas, CA started to show up less often to see NG. The visits became infrequent and soon, he was no longer around and thus, the relationship was over. Devastated, NG could not understand how CA could go away at the critical moment she needed him. Unfortunately, with his attitude, CA could not live to the meaning of his name.

Ignored and Tarnished

One of the ways to groove into the system of the entertainment industry is to have a senior personality to give support and access to opportunities. A strong backer ensures success for an unknown who wants to make a career in showbiz. Such was true for Talented Personality (TP), who practically matured in the industry.
When TP was discovered, his presence in local shows provided a refreshing sight on television. At a young age, TP was already funny and knew how to entertain viewers. Thus, TP had followers quite early in his life. Meanwhile, TP needed a guide and that was where His Mentor (HM) came in.
Being a veteran, HM knew how to motivate TP as well as gain support for the budding talent. Moreover, as TP grew up, HM realized TP had potential to excel in other fields. Years later, TP was able to reinvent his career path and HM was proud of how TP managed to rise above issues. HM even considers TP as one of his kids, and thus, he was happy to be part of TP’s success.
Time makes people realize their capabilities and happiness. TP searched for the area where he could best express himself and that meant questioning certain values and institutions that HM holds dearly. While TP was beginning to appreciate who he was, HM could not believe the changes TP had undergone.
Subsequently, new and old would clash. Beliefs and values change, but for some people, certain ideals are non-negotiable. Being media icons, TP and HM clashed, as TP raised questions that piqued HM. It seems that the child no longer wanted to be under the winds of the father. A gap was thus created. The distance widened when TP stressed his point, which irked HM. What TP was fighting for was not possible in the schema of HM. Unfortunately, this agreement became personal and TP emotionally attacked HM. After sometime, TP apologized to HM for the outburst, but not for contradicting HM.
As the rift deepened, Young Mentor (YM), who was close to TP and HM tried to reconcile TP and HM. Feeling that they are family, YM did his best for the two to kiss and make up. Despite the apology, not much changed. YM failed. TP and HM are no longer talking to each other.

Making the Joyride

For some people doing what should not be done gives satisfaction. The thrill, risk, and excitement can give an immeasurable high to certain people. The idea of evading capture further enhances the experience. Thus, such is true for the relationship of Pretty Celebrity (PC) and Famous Sports personality (FS).
PC belongs to the group of celebrities who have managed to move from one genre to another. Having created impact in one area paved the way for PC to try other avenues of entertainment. Slowly but surely, PC made her way to popularity in another field. Soon, her talents were recognized as well.
Her attractive looks and her overall charm made Adept Athlete (AA) fall in love with her. Soon, the two were known to be an item. However, they would keep mum on the state of their relationship. Kibitzers noted the presence of PC whenever AA had an event and assumed something was developing.
After sometime, PC and AA were recognized as a couple. As both pursued their careers, the seriousness of their relationship is often put to a test. For whatever reason, PC could not seem to keep her loyalty. One time, PC requested AA to drive her to a friend’s house. AA innocently agreed thinking that PC would just be bonding with her girlfriends. Thus, AA did his driving chores and wished PC to have fun.
Fun was indeed the operative word. Unknown to AA, he participated in giving PC what she wanted, which was an act of betrayal. The house where PC asked to be drop off was the home of FS. A man and a woman alone in a house are not exactly going to do something that a significant other would not mind. Allegedly, PC was attracted to FS and thus, did something in the privacy of his bedroom. The odd thing was that FS and AA are in the same circle. It takes a lot of guts and confidence to think that she could get a way with infidelity and it seems, PC is getting away with her trysts.
