    1. Grabe, pwede dapat yun! Pag Schengen, yung issuing visa could be: Your point of entry OR country you're staying at the longest.

Enchong could be staying in Paris the longest kaya yun yung visa nya kahit Madrid entry point nya.

  2. Business class in Air France felt racist since you are the only Asian there? Pls justify how are they racist towards you?

    4. We fly Air France a lot pag umuuwi ng Pinas, economy lang pero so far maganda naman experience namin. So if business class I thought mas special ang passenger? 😅 Did he perhaps get a Schengen Visa issued by France but he will go to Spain instead (because Spain is stricter than France, and some people practice “visa shopping” to work around this situation)? Pero it doesn’t make sense if frequent traveler naman sya (I think he is, kasi artista naman sya and he has the capacity diba…)

    5. Ito din. Wag kasi gamitin ang race card pwerke insecure ka na ikaw lang ang asian. Give factual proof koyah!

    7. 1217 I had first-hand experience with how racist some of the FAs of Air France are. Hindi sila verbal pero mararamdaman mo pagka-racist nila. The way they talk to you, how dismissive they are to your needs etc at first you try to ignore because you’d think baka naman mali ako. BUT if repetitive na ang action (or inaction), ako pa ba mali? So
I understand Enchong and I am fully on his side

  3. Air France sucks! They lost my luggage in Paris and it took them 7 days to locate it. Had to buy new luggage, clothes, etc. while on vacation. They did not even pay me back. Do not fly with Air France!!!

    2. I'm sorry it happened to you. Happened to me before (not Air France though) that's why it's important to have travel insurance.

    3. 12:34 insurance is useless. UA lost my luggage, filed a claim through the insurance. Walang nangyare. Kasi siguro UA found the luggage after a few days. But still, they should still have compensated.

    4. 1:38 Insurance is not always useless, ex: in case of medical emergency. Like you said, UA found your luggage so they didn't reimburse.

  4. Schengen rules, you abide tourist .

  5. You have a Schengen visa yes but your entry should be France and not Madrid.so they are correct to offload you.saan ang racism dyan eh Ikaw ang Mali sa port of entry mo.you should generally enter through the country that issued your visa.

    2. You obviously don’t know how the Schengen visa works. Air France was wrong to deny him boarding for his trip to Madrid.

  6. Former airline staff here (European airline). I'm not invalidating Enchong's experience, and I'm trying to understand what happened.

    Possible scenario: AF roundtrip ticket
    BKK/xCDG/stop MAD/stop CDG/BKK

    1. Outbound BKK/xCDG/MAD
He was questioned due to via CDG and destination MAD. He should have gotten a Schengen visa from the BLS Visa (official service provider of the Consulate General of Spain).

    2. The AF BKK ground staff cannot revoke his Schengen visa. I wonder what exactly happened here.

    3. New ticket BKK to London - on which airline? Then London to Paris - on which airline? Or Eurostar train? No additional info here.

    4. Online check-in AF MAD/xCDG/BKK
Didn't he say he was in Paris already - point#3?
    There are 2 flights involved:
    AF MADCDG
    AF CDGBKK
Did he skip MADCDG and was able to online check-in CDGBKK? That must have been the reason "they blocked his ticket" - assuming he didn't utilize aka NoShow on his MADCDG ticket coupon, then onward flight CDGBKK is automatically cancelled. Need more info here.

Skip to 8. The French are not warm people, unlike other European nationalities.

    1. Agree to your possible scenarios.

    2. Also (London) UK is not in the shengen area. Unless may UK visa din sya.

      Delete
    3. 1:58 Good point. Another possibility is he probably bought a British Airways ticket BKK/xLHR/CDG, transit LHR, so he doesn't need a UK visa.

  8. actually racist ang france in terms of schengen visa. mas malaki chance mo ma deny pag france. Bottomline racist talaga sila. they categorized visiting sa bansa nila

mahigpit yata sila dahil sa mataas over staying sa bansa nila most likely from south asia.

kung gusto nyo ma accept sa schengen visa go for greece and balkan countries tapos back packing ka na lang whole europe

  10. people commenting racist are actually the ones who are racist paano mo naman nasabi na French national agad ang nag offload just because airfrance? He specifically said ground staff in Bangkok. Hindi ba pwede Thai sila or Asian or another nationality? kaloka also naamoy mo ba? gineralize na lahat na stinky it’s like saying since maraming magnanakaw na politicians sa Pilipinas mag nanakaw na lahat ng Pilipino or since from middle east may possibility na terrorist sila. It is normal na question ka if ang visa san ka nag apply is different from your point of entry. Just because you booked business class doesnt exempt you from the rules. sumunod ka sa rules wala ka magiging problem ganun ka simple.

  11. Flew Airfrance before and I must agree with Enchong. Worst. They even lost one of our luggage from Nice to Paris. Food was so bad and FAs couldn't care less. I thought worst na ang PAL experience ko ng MNL to LAx pero after mas haggard pala Airfrance.

  12. No such thing as not letting you board because your destination is not the country that issued your visa. Ground stafff were just power tripping
