Friends of Controversial Talent (CT) noticed that she has not been going out with them lately. CT would give various excuses not to join her peers, which made them curious as to why CT seems to be ditching their company. Thus, they started to observe and investigate, as CT has not been saying anything. True enough, they realized CT has found Another Friend (AF) she seems to prefer to be with than be with her friends.
AF is a free spirit, who is realizing her potential in the opportunities available in the network. Over the years she has been with her management, she patiently tried to find in which areas she can grow as an artist. She moved at her own pace and took advantage of every chance to give her all and make the audience remember her. Whether it be her performance or her outfits, AF would attempt to stand out of the crowd.
As CT and AF work together, the former realized how much she could learn from the latter. Moreover, their working relationship was making them closer to each other and soon this closeness was bound to be noticed and pondered upon. CT would then spend nights at AF’s or sometimes she would come home late. Her parents did not like CT to come home at odd hours and they raised the concern that AF might be a bad influence. They were afraid that CT’s clean image might be tarnished if she kept hanging around with AF, who is far more mature and experienced.
During one of their working moments, AF and CT were left alone in the dressing room, as their co-workers were called to go on stage. Things were clear, and that was what AF and CT thought. After a few minutes, Network Newcomer (NN) barged into the dressing room, as she left something. To her shock, she caught AF and CT sharing a kiss on the lips. Bothered by what she saw, NN regained her composure and talked to her handler as soon as her responsibilities were done.
The handler was already sniffing at something that was peculiar with AF and CT and apparently, the hunch was correct. Thus, AF and CT were called. CT said the kiss was just a friendly one. Still, the handler reprimanded them not to be too passionate in expressing their closeness, as their behavior can be given malice. Consequently, their careers would be affected given that fans are not supportive of same-sex relationships. Besides, both are being groomed into love teams with two of the station’s hot leading men. If the lesbian rumor persists, their love teams would fail.
