Part 2: Expected Statements: The Start

When one is caught red-handed, one approaches being cornered with anger or with a tamed personality that can confuse the aggrieved party. In the continuing saga of the cracked friendship of Female Friend 1 (FF1) and Female Friend 2 (FF2), FF1 learns the version of the truth according to FF2.
To backtrack, FF1 unexpectedly caught her Charming Personality (CP) sending a message to FF2. Her woman’s intuition shot up and she had to face something that she had no idea would hit her. After a nice time with FF2, FF1 saw the alleged controversial message and as soon as she ran off, FF2 realized that the shenanigans have been discovered.
Between the sobs of a hurt FF1, FF2 attempted to explain further what had happened. Standing by her claim that she wanted to expose that CP was not faithful, she recounted to FF1 how the ‘cheating’ started. According to FF2, CP started to play the game with her by first asking how she would want to be called. FF2 said she’d prefer her real name and not her showbiz identity. When FF2 replied by addressing CP with his official title, he said she should just call him by his first name.
The conversation goes on with CP allegedly asking if FF2 is in a relationship and she said she has been single for the past few years. When FF2 asked CP why he asked that question, he directly allegedly said that he likes her. Upon hearing this story, FF1 could only mutter a word to describe CP. After which, FF2 continued to explain that she only wanted to expose CP to FF1. However, timing was not on her side.
FF2 continued to reveal that CP had been sending her messages even when he was on vacation. FF1 could not believe what she was hearing. FF2 assured FF1 that she called the attention of CP to the kind of messages a committed man should not be sending to another woman. CP apparently replied that FF1 will never know.
Questions filled FF1’s head and she could not get over CP’s calling FF2 his baby and FF2 not doing anything about it. FF2 admitted that she was indeed CP’s ‘Baby,” but insisted that she really wanted to tell FF1 what CP has been up to. Again, she stressed that she had planned to tell FF1, but everything was discovered way ahead of her intended revelation.

Expected Statements

Betrayal in friendships is nothing new and common, but most people would rather view such incident from afar. Sometimes, they make comments or give advice, and wish none of their friends would do the transgression. Experiencing a betrayal is something that no one wants. Unfortunately, the usual suspects are the least expected ones.
When Female Friend 1 (FF1) established friendship with Female Friend 2 (FF2), their relationship was built on trust and common interests. Both have a heart for their advocacies and share their time and talent to uplift others. However, time passed and FF1 and FF2 went different ways, but their friendship seemed strong and they would occasionally meet with each other.
One day, FF1 introduced FF2 to Charming Personality (CP), and FF2 realized the potential CP can have in her life. CP represented a host or someone who could connect FF2 with people who can help her in her various projects. As FF2 was a friend of FF1, CP was friendly and warm. Meanwhile, FF1 felt safe as she was secure in her relationships with CP and FF2.
No matter how much people hide, secrets have an uncanny way of revealing the truth. That was exactly what happened to FF2. During a happy event, FF1 and FF2 were enjoying themselves. FF1 was singing and using the mobile of FF2 for the lyrics. Then, she was shocked as an app showed that CP had a message to his alleged “Baby.”
The flow of thoughts was uncontrollable. Clinging to the device, FF1 stayed in the restroom to recompose herself. FF2 followed FF1 and started to talk to her friend. FF1 was very emotional and could not stop crying. The discovery of something happening between CP and FF2 was too overwhelming.
After a few minutes, FF2 opened with words about wanting to explain. FF1 was stoic, but FF2 was insistent. FF1 confirmed their terms of endearment and FF2 did not even flinch. However, FF1 was cool in saying that she wanted to expose CP’s true colors and that she was just a pawn in exposing his ways.
Unfortunately, this encounter was allegedly recorded by someone among the guests, and that night, the world of FF1 and CP crumbled. Even if FF2 tried hard to give a smart excuse for her seemingly close relationship with CP, FF1 had already felt the crack in their friendship.

Pagkatapos ng maraming project kasama ang ka-love team na si James Reid, going solo muna ngayon ang aktres na si Nadine Lustre para sa kanyang upcoming movie na Ulan.
Bibida si Nadine kasama ang mga actors ng Viva Artist Agency na sina AJ Muhlach, Marco Gumabao, at Xian Lim.
Kuwento ni Nadine sa naganap na story conference, ibang karakter ang kanyang gagampanan sa project na ito ng Viva Films.
“Maraming pagbabago sa character ko, based on experiences (on story),” bungad ni Nadine/
Ayon pa kay Nadine, nagustuhan niya agad ang role nang una itong ialok sa kanya ni Direk Irene Villamor na kakagaling lang sa blockbuster success ng Sid and Aya (Not A Love Story).
“Yes (it reflects) on a lot of things, actually last year pa ‘to, ‘di ba Direk? (addressing the director at the said story conference) Last year pa kami nag-meeting about this and yung story kasi gustong-gusto ko siya, it’s more self love,” sambit pa ni Nadine.
Aminado si Nadine na bagong opportunity ito para sa kanya na hindi makakasama sa isang proyekto ang real life partner na si James Reid.
“It’s new, parang bagong stepping stone siya para sa akin kasi nga this time hiwalay kami ni James. Dito ko po talaga malalaman kung kaya ko ba ng wala siya (laughs). Joke!” pabirong pahayag ni Nadine.
Aniya, pagkakataon ito para sa sa kanila na mag-grow pagdating sa kani-kanilang careers.
“I mean it’s healthy to be able to work separately and to work together at the same time. At least we both grow together and [get] to work separately,” sabi pa ni Nadine.
Looking forward din daw si Nadine na makatrabaho sa movie project na ito si Direk Irene.
“It’s big thing for me to be able to work with Direk Irene, kasi nga yung mga naging project niya before. And I’m really, really excited talaga kasi maganda talaga yung story.”

An Error in Judgment

The moment Newbie Performer (NP) entered the stage, the people in the audience realized NP was different from the others, and that he deserved the chance to make it to the big time. Although the entertainment field has so many talents, NP could carve his own space given his talent and appeal. Part of his admirers was Seasoned Singer (SS), who could not get his eyes off NP. SS was seeing the potential in NP and in his mind, he had a plan.
Being the professional, SS knew he had so much to teach NP. NP, who obviously wants to succeed, listened to SS. The times they spent with each other developed a close relationship. SS realized he was attracted to NP, but he was too cautious to even do anything that would go beyond a professional relationship.
Unknowingly, NP had attracted Another Talent (AT), who is almost at the same caliber as SS. Like SS, AT has been in the industry to know the ins and outs. Thus, he also had much knowledge and experiences from which NP could learn. AT made his moves and NP agreed to what AT proposed. NP liked AT and thus, their feelings were mutual. The friendship was amiable and tempting. AT would even invite NP to his house for lessons discretely. NP felt privileged, as it is not everyday that a crush would be so accommodating. What happened after dinner is anyone’s guess.
Walls have ears, as the cliché goes. SS eventually found out that a triangle was brewing and before he knew it, he seems to have been eased out by AT. SS felt that NP and AT have indeed bonded and he was out of the picture. Then, nearing the big day, SS made a move that shocked many. The repercussion was that NP was taken out of the running. SS had his little revenge and he knew where to hurt the most. By the end of the day, SS refused to talked to AT even though they have been colleagues for so long.
Indirectly, SS had worsened the situation. NP needed to be consoled and AT was around to soothe the disappointment. Thus, SS got the bashing and AT came home a winner with NP in tow, figuratively, of course.
