Emman's case was def valid. She was diagnosed with a clinical depression, correct?
I don't like Robin. Pretty obvious this dude doesn't have critical thinking but to some degree, he is right. This generation is just at times, regurgitate things they hear on the internet, "mental health", "boundaries", "gender affirmation", and gets offended in just about anything, getting depressed and mental health is declining blah blah. I'm not invalidating those who are genuinely going through it but for some of you/us --- this is life! Welcome to a broken world. But write your own story and plot twists, hindi yung puro nalang copycat sa mga naririnig nyo sa media. Peace!!
Agreed. Imagine sa trabaho, they always feel entitled just because of their mental health?
Ok, mental health is real and we need to acknowledge it. See a therapist etc. But also, if the kid is always taking "depression" as an excuse to everything like mag walwal, party all night, driving 100mph, i mean, you gotta do something about it, to avoid hurting anyone including yourself. It shouldn't be a reason or excuse that other kids say just to get away of something really bad.
Zillenial here pero I sort of agree. But!!
Imagine being clinically depressed is now considered a trend among young people. Sad:
I’m a millennial and I strongly agree. Weak yong mga Gen Zs. I often kid my nephew na ano nalang mangyayari sa kanila pag dating ng panahon. It pays to be kind, I know. But the world doesn’t adjust for them. We you have to learn to toughen up, otherwise you’ll be eaten alive.
Some people are TOO SENSITIVE AND ENTITLED that no matter how some say or deliver their opinion they get hurt. News alert 🚨 to survive in any field one must be strong and not be a cry baby.
Honestly, Sen. Padilla’s statement is overly simplistic.
Dati kc may stima baka tawaging baliw
I do not believe that the generation now are weak. Mas open lang kasi mga tao na ngayon about mental health kaya napag uusapan at mas maraming aware at nakaka alam. The generation now are so smart and intelligent because of accessible education or information online. Wala na gaano 8080 ngayon. Lahat may opinyon. Lahat mulat.
Hanggat di nyo nararanasan di nyo maiintindihan. Like my case, I am 66 yrs old, bigla siyang aatake without warning.

The whole of society failed our children.

ReplyDeleteSorry but I am with Robin on this.
ReplyDeleteTimes have changed whether we like it or not. Iba na ang panahon ngayon, wala naman mawawala if maging mas understanding tayo and show empathy.
