Draw of the Moment
With VA apparently heading back to his love, his coworkers were all excited. There was a time when VA was already among the actors being groomed for stardom. He was the usual profile with his versatility, good looks, and acting skills. However, he stumbled, but got up after struggling hard. The story does not end there, however, as he was triggered to fall again. He was not as strong yet as expected, and when he realized he let many people down, he decided to get himself out of the picture.
Now, as VA is trying to get out of his rut, fans are concerned on matters of the heart. VA has remained coy about this matter, but his fans hope that he will finally realize who is significant and what his priorities are. If his heart is healed by another, only time could tell.
Incidentally, when VA was dining out sometime ago, someone spotted Committed Talent (CT) within the area. Although she did not bother to show herself to VA, the moment was quite stupendous. The question as to why CT was there at the time VA was having a meal had tongues wagging, especially when they learned that CT seems to be looking at where VA was seated. Of course, such could have just been coincidental, an intriguing one at that. As for any reconnection between CT and VA soon, most would think such would be awkward, as they seemed to have found the way to close their chapter.

For the first time in four years, former Senator Bong Revilla and his chief-of-staff Richard Cambe would not have to spend Christmas Eve behind bars.
The Sandiganbayan First Division, in two separate resolutions dated Dec. 20, has granted a 10-hour furlough for the two plunder defendants to celebrate the holiday with their families in Cavite.
Revilla and Cambe were allowed to leave their detention cells at the Philippine National Police Custodial Center from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 24.
Revilla would spend his holiday in his residence in Bacoor City, Cavite, while Cambe would be in his brother’s house in Imus City, Cavite. Cambe was also allowed to undergo a dental checkup while outside detention.
The court required the two plunder defendants to shoulder the PNP’s expenses for their personal escorts and security measures.
It also tasked the PNP security detail to supervise the use of any means of communication or electronic gadgets by the two and their companions. Media interviews were also prohibited.
The court did not give weight to the prosecution’s argument that granting the furlough would a “special privilege that is not accorded to an ordinary prisoner and [would] unduly create an impression to the public that accused Revilla… is a favored detainee.”
The furlough, however, was not as long as Revilla’s request to leave detention for 33 hours from 11 a.m. on Dec. 24 to 8 p.m. on Christmas Day, Dec. 25. Revilla had also requested another 33-hour furlough from Dec. 31 to Jan. 1.
This would be the first time the two would celebrate Christmas at home since they were detained at the national police headquarters in June 2014, when the Ombudsman filed plunder charges against them in the Sandiganbayan.
Revilla was accused of receiving through Cambe P224.5 million in kickbacks in exchange for diverting his Priority Development Assistance Fund allocations to ghost projects by dubious foundations allegedly ran by Janet Lim-Napoles.
Christmas furloughs for detained high-ranking public officials are not unheard of in the Philippines, which ranked 101st of the 176 countries, or the bottom half, in Transparency International’s Corruption Perceptions Index 2016.
Former President and incumbent Pampanga 2nd Dist. Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo was allowed to go home for the holidays in 2014 and 2015 while her P366-million plunder case was still pending. /je

Do Not Believe Everything Said
Typical of sad stories of rejection, YP was not interested in UT. He was more into the direction leading to Spontaneous Girl (SG), whom he seems to really like. However, SG knows that careers come first, which has made her focus more on achieving her goals. Luckily, YP is at the side of SG as she makes her breakthroughs. That situation does not sit well with UT.
Sometime ago, UT was asked about her crush and she identified Handsome Partner (HP). However, this reply was merely to cover up her liking for YP. Even in her social media accounts then, only YP has a solo shot, compared with her other friends. Whenever she would pose photos with HP, such were only for promotion purposes. Soon, stories came out as to why she had to move on and away from HP. Still, doubt was cast over her version. Her claim that HP was not like by her family because of his manners was allegedly incorrect.
Compared with YP, the family of HP was not as financially secured. This situation was disliked by the camp of UT. In one event, a close relation of HP was standing at the backstage and a powerful member of the team of UT merely passed her by. Short of a snub, that member did not even exchange pleasantries with the said relation. Instead, the member looked at the relation from head to toe and then walked away. The act was a statement in itself.
For now, as UT and HP are going on separate ways. While UT seems to be going sole, HP is being tested with other possible screen partners. Meanwhile, YP and SG are moving as a team and keeping close to each other, which seems to be an appreciated strategy as fans have remained supportive.
