Cannot Evade Her
Over the years, SI has been behind the success of various projects as well as numerous talents of a network. Although SI keeps a low profile, her position can make or break the career of a newbie or even an established actor. Hence, every talent knows that SI can exert influence in the direction of one’s career. The sad side is that if SI is no longer interested, then the talent might have to go on his own way.
Among the former interests is Versatile Actor (VA), who has made the successful transition from doing cute boyish roles to dramatic roles. With his acting range in full swing, VA can even play lead and villain roles in a breeze. One moment, he’s the boy next door, and in the next role, VA can play a most hated character convincingly.
Well, SI is done with VA, who seems to be not as hot as before, and has set her eyes on Shy Talent (ST). When ST was discovered, the common reaction was that he was just a tall guy and that he would not even stay long in the industry. ST was indeed shy when he started and was dismissed as someone who lacked acting depths. With such comments, the career of ST seemed doomed. However, the network saw something in him and patiently groomed him into a competent actor. Now, he has one project after the other and is even a contract talent of a movie outfit.
SI has her eyes set on ST, as he has matured and developed into a very attractive young man. However, at this moment, ST is in relationship, which he has publicly declared. The question is if this circumstance will prevent SI from pursuing his interest in him. The critical point is that ST needs to stay afloat in his career, as he has realized that as one matures, the opportunities for roles lessen as well.

Just Another Normal Day
Whenever celebrities are seen in public, people only have two reactions. First, some would be content at observing the celebrity and see where he/she will be going. Second, with guts and bravery, some would approach the celebrity and ask for a selfie. The second option runs various risks, and the most significant is rejection.
Although selfies with celebrities seem to be a trend, the basic requisite is finding the celebrity and making him/her pose. Even if celebrities exhibit amiable faces on TV or in movies, being away from the cameras can transform them into the opposite. Stories have been shared on how ordinary folks are shocked that the celebrity they thought to be friendly is actually a monster. Some viewers think that the personality exhibited by the celebrity in the character he/she plays is his/her true self. Unfortunately, many celebrities are very different from the roles they play on screen. Less than a handful can claim that he/she is as kind as the role he/she plays.
When Popular Actress (PA) and her Talented Boyfriend (TB) were seen at an arrival area, people tried to catch up with them for customary photos. After all, PA and TB are so popular that people will really try to request for selfies. Such reaction is expected, as PA and TB do bring entertainment to their fans. People waved and called out the couple. Sadly, PA walked fast and was oblivious to the fans trying to get her attention. TB could not really do more than follow PA even if he wanted to say ‘Hi!’ to their followers. This attitude of PA is not new, as she seems to have taken her fame to her head, and ordinary people could only feel disappointment at her attitude.

The New York Times is suing a Filipina journalist for falsely representing herself as one of its reporters to "gain admittance to news conferences and other events and to attract followers on social media.”
In its complaint filed on November 9, the Times said that Rita Villadiego, a Filipina from Queens County, had a pattern of representing herself as Contessa Bourbon who, she claimed, was a reporter for the US newspaper. The Times said that Bourbon is not and has never been their reporter.
"Despite the lack of any employment relationship between Ms Bourbon and The Times, Ms Bourbon has repeatedly represented herself as a journalist employed by The New York Times since at least May 2015,” the Times said in its complaint.
In May 2015, the Times alleged that Villadiego represented herself as their reporter at the Brookings Institution, asking questions and even interviewing the Turkish ambassador and other officials.
The Times reached out to Villadiego on the same month, asking her to cease and desist from identifying herself as its journalist. Villadiego did not respond and continued mispresenting herself.
On March 29, 2017, Villadiego attended a speech by Education Secretary Betsy DeVos at the Brookings Institution and identified herself to attendees, and even asked Devos a question, as a reporter for the Times. Another Times reporter was also present at the event.
The Times again demanded for her to stop, but to no avail.
According to the complaint, Villadiego also wrote to a congressional staff member, asking to be allowed cover the Congressional Gold Medal awards event as a representative of the Times in October 2017.
When the staff member asked for documentation of her Times assignment, Villadiego tweeted that she was being blocked from covering the event by the congressional staff. This prompted the staff to contact the news organization.
"Ms Bourbon’s conduct has caused harm to the reputation of The New York Times because her conduct is inaccurately attributed to The New York Times,” the Times said.
On her Twitter account's bio, Villadiego also says she's a journalist for the Times, Wall Street Journal, London Times, Guardian, and the Washington Post. After the complaint was filed, she had since removed the Times from the list.
'Fake news'
In what seemed to be her response to the complaint, Villadiego tweeted that reports about her misrepresentation were “fake news."
Villadiego said that she kept silent because her boss, media mogul Rupert Murdoch, said that the “NY Post would apologize” and that she didn’t want to “flare up the controversy.” She also claimed that Murdoch “castigated editor of NY Post last night for posting damaging fake news against me."
In her past tweets, Villadiego also claimed to have a memoir written about her life called, Queen Contessa Memoir. She also claimed that a movie based on her memoir is under development – directed by Steven Spielberg, co-produced by Dreamworks and 21st-Century Fox, and starring Angelina Jolie.
She also repeatedly claimed on Twitter that a broadway musical, also based on her memoir, is coming soon. This time, starring Filipina singer and broadway star Lea Salonga as Queen Contessa.
Salonga has already denied this in a tweet, calling it "100% fake news."
Filipino journalist Cristina Pastor, who is based in New York, said in a report she wrote for New York-based magazine The FilAm that she has personally met Villadiego before.
According to her, Villadiego was a former reporter for the Philippine Daily Inquirer in Manila before she eventually became a freelance journalist in the US, writing mainly for the Filipino Express in Jersey City. She used her real name as a journalist before but she began using the byline Contessa Bourbon when she moved to Washington DC with her daughter.
"Even then, there was something odd about her. Some people thought she was unwell. I overheard one community leader admonish her, 'Rita, I think you should go home…for the sake of your daughter,'" Pastor wrote. – Rappler.com
