Most often, celebrities have their idiosyncrasies, but the way they handle these quirks in their personalities can lead to the success or failure in their attitude. Usually, negative traits are kept away from the public eye, as these could turnoff fans and tarnish their careers. The excuse that celebrities give in order to save their faces from their odd habits is their claim that they are using artists and they can behave the way an artist does.

However, behavior that is off the norm will always be noticed and excuses of using creative license is not match for kindness. When Popular Performer (PP) was invited for an out-of-town gig, everyone on his team as well as the organizers thought he would be easy to work with. Sadly, PP did not waste time proving his reputation as someone who does not speak and mingle much.

As the practice is customary and courteous, every performer invited for the celebration was treated to lunch by the head of the town. PP was considered among the VIPs and therefore, a special place was reserved for him. The food prepared resembled a feast, which was always expected in provincial shows. As other guests were finding their seats, PP left word that he and his assistant preferred to stay at the hotel. The host said that food will be brought to them instead.

After some time, the food arrived. The assistant reprimanded the driver for bringing the food late. The poor driver could not understand where the assistant was coming from, as the hotel and the house of the feast were not that near to each other. The assistant kept rambling that the hunger of PP has passed. Later on, when PP joined the rest of the performers, many noticed that he was not interested and unfriendly toward other people.

In another incident, PP informed the team that he would go to venue later. Thus, the driver of the van that would bring him to the venue, made the extra trip to pick him up. The moment he entered the van, he complained of the smell. The ride was not going to be pleasant, after all.

Although PP has been in the business for many years, he has already established a reputation of being arrogant and focusing only on himself, which are tolerated because he such a great performer.

Actress Ai Ai delas Alas confirmed that she has a prenuptial agreement with her 23-year-old fiancé Gerald Sibayan.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News and other reporters on Wednesday, delas Alas revealed that it was Sibayan who suggested it.

"Mayroon kami kaya lang confidential, hindi pinag-uusapan kasi ayaw ng lawyer. Hanggang doon lang ang pwedeng sabihin kasi sabi ng lawyer confidential, if ever magtanong sila sabihin mo na lang na 'oo,' pero no details," delas Alas said.

The 52-year-old Delas Alas added that aside from Sibayan, her mother also suggested that they have a prenup contract.

"Usually naman ang nanay ko ang palaging may gusto at 'yung family din ni Gerald," she added.

But Delas Alas, who is starring in the upcoming comedy movie "Bes and the Beshies" with Zsa Zsa Padilla, Carmi Martin and Beauty Gonzales, which opens in cinemas on October 18, stressed that for her a prenuptial agreement should not be an issue.

"Alam mo 'yung sa ganyan para na lang din sa kapayapaan ni Gerald para wala na siyang basher. Pero sa mag-asawa naman ke normal o artista eh wala naman yon, pera lang naman 'yon. Kumbaga di 'yon ang batayan nang pagsasama niyo ng matagal. Nasa inyo 'yon kung magkakaintindihan kayo. Although kailangan niyo 'yon as mag-asawa pero di 'yon ang essence ng pagmamahal," delas Alas said.

"Kasi siyempre [dalawang] beses na akong ikinasal at hindi din guarantee na kapag may prenup ka ay hindi makukuhaan ng pera. Kapag gusto kang lokohin o gusto kang huthutan, magagawa niya 'yon," she added.

Marrying for the right reason

On Monday, photos of their prenup shoot circulated online. Delas Alas said the shoot was held in Cebu at the Temple of Leah.

"First time ko nag-prenup, masaya. Saka feeling ko dalaga ako," she said.

"Kaya ako magpapakasal kasi mahal ko si Gerald at gusto naming magsama na forever. Noon kasi maraming hidden agenda kung bakit gusto kong makasal, gusto kong mang-inis, siguro na karma din ako noon, but this time all out of love," delas Alas said.

"Dati kasi maraming hindi tamang dahilan, pero ngayon, dahil mahal ko si Gerald at inayos ko ang buhay ko," added delas Alas who will have a wedding church for the first time.

"('Yung dalawang nauna) nag-start ng mali, kasi may third-party involved. Eto (kay Gerald) wala," the comedienne stressed.

Sibayan and delas Alas are set to get married this December in Manila. "Nasa 300 (ang guests) bawal gatecrashers," delas Alas said.

Some of the celebrities who will be part of her entourage are Sharon Cuneta, Marian Rivera, Bayani Agbayani, Ogie Alcasid, Regine Velasquez, Rufa Mae Quinto, Jose Manalo, Pops Fernandez, Piolo Pascual, Randy Santiago, Jerald Napoles, Valeen Montenegro and Barbie Forteza.

Asked about the theme of her wedding, delas Alas said: "Colorful, fiesta."

For her gown, delas Alas said it will be designed by Frederick Peralta while film director Louie Ignacio is in charge of her hand-painted veil.

After the wedding, the couple will be going Europe for their honeymoon.

Lack of Admiration

The way things are going with the young stars being developed by a major network, Female Discovery (FD) is feeling left out. When FD was starting out, she was being groomed to be the next talent to be built up. FD has the looks and many followers. Then, because of their constant togetherness, she was matched with Cute Actor (CA). However, things did not really materialize as expected, and FD and CA became awkward toward with each other.

As FD and CA parted ways, the network gave the two separate projects and tried to pair them off with other talents of the network. Soon, the heavens heard the plea of CA. Like a last gamble, the network paired off CA with Lingering Celebrity (LC). Being more senior and seasoned, fans of LC were cynical as to the choice of CA for her. Reality, however, indicated that the network was already running out of male partners for LC and CA was the new, yet familiar face.

The partnership of CA and LC was a gamble that paid off for the network. Fans noticed LC and praised CA. The formula worked and everyone was happy. Adding fun to the partnership was the presence of Talented Personality (TP), and another love triangle was born and bound to be successful. This situation had a cost, however. Allegedly, CA was pressured into making his relationship with LC for real. Thus, he had to drop his liking for a non-showbiz girl, as his ambition was far more important at this point. He needed his career to support his family as well. Meanwhile, LC was receptive as CA was an answered prayer for her career. As for TP, the network has several young actresses that can match his energy and talent.

The trio was soon joined by Handsome Talent (HT), who could really sing and charm his way to the hearts of the audience. On the side, HT started giving hints that he likes LC. LC then requested if HT could be included in a project that she and TP were finishing. By this time, all the hot young boys gravitated to LC, which left FD with no loveteam partner. Worse, the promise that she would be built up fell short, and for now, she was just one of the many young female talents of the network. Frustrated, FD would snub LC, and walk as though she did not see anyone whenever they would be in the same corridor.

When the project of CA and LC had a slow start, people panicked as the below expectation results might mean the end of their partnership. An early end would mean it would be back to zero for LC, and her camp no longer wants that to happen. As girls will be girls and sometimes, mean girls, FD hosted a party to celebrate the low turnout of the CA-LC project. With booze getting in their heads, FD made the mistake of posting a cryptic, but implied status in her social media. Most of the netizens who came across her post assumed the message was for the project. As soon as the network got wind of the controversial message, FD was immediately reprimanded and told to delete her post. She followed the directive and just kept quiet about her frustration.
