Mismatched Judgments

Perhaps forgotten in the minds of the local audience is how the arrogance of a celebrity almost caused him his career as well any opportunity for a brighter future. Although he was already among the talents being given priority by the management, the celebrity listened to others and became convinced he could demand anything from his home network. Although cooler and more logical heads prevailed, things were no longer the same. The cracks were beyond repair.

Meanwhile, Another Celebrity (AC) seems to be blind of her arrogance toward her coworkers and even her social media audience. AC seems to be too full of herself and does not care if her actions would have detrimental effects on others.

In one of her recent projects, the production team could only shake their heads when AC makes things difficult. For example, if she does not want the way her scene would be executed, she would complain and sometimes, even refuse to participate. Such attitude would delay the schedule given that the scenes would have to be rethought of without her. One time, she fussed about her wardrobe, but she could not have her way, as the oufit were part of a tie-up that should be honored. As the attitude of AC has led to negativity on the set, she had to be let go.

To save face, AC has been claiming that all is well between her and the team with whom she has had a misunderstanding. However, her claims are belied by those who had to endure her, but are now heaving a sigh of relief. Rather than be indifferent and defensive, AC might want to reflect on her attitude toward support systems. After all, celebrities would not be where they are now if not for the effort of the people behind the cameras. Moreover, AC should learn from the experience of the celebrity, who now has to figure out the direction to pursue and swallow his pride because he was too arrogant earlier in his career.

A Mysterious, Clandestine Relationship

Wannabee Starlet (WS) has been in the industry for a few years, but she still has yet to elevate her status from being a backup or part of an ensemble into a solo act. Starting as a dancer in a variety show, WS showed promise. However, unless one can totally standout as a solo dancer, he/she would have difficulty in making a name as a solo dancer. Many have tried, but only very few names standout whenever dancing is mentioned, and WS is not one of them.

At any rate, there are perks on being in the industry and that includes meeting other celebrities and establishing ties with influential people. Without a doubt, WS is attractive, which became more pronounced given all the possible beauty enhancements needed for her work.

Consequently, WS caught the eye of Influential Businessman (IB). Knowing that IB happens to be cash-loaded and belongs to the group of financially secure individuals, being chummy with IB flowed naturally. Before Meeting IB, WS was the mistress of a good friend of a popular noontime host. WS also has friends in one of the business groups that IB handles.

Hence, the closeness began and WS succeeded in getting IB under her skin. IB, meanwhile, is married to a Private Woman (PW). Having married early in their lives, IB and PW did their best to raise a family. At the onset of his career, IB even had the double burden of proving that he could be better than his elders in running the business and being a family man at the same time.

Things did not go as planned, however. Beyond his family, certain business decisions did not turn out well. Troubled, IB must have found companionship with WS. WS could have been quick to take advantage of the situation. IB allegedly pursued a relationship with WS and according to a reliable source, she recently given birth to his child. That means putting her career on hold, and thus, IB knew the answer. He gave her what she wanted, such as a new house and lots of money.

These generous gifts are now raising questions in the minds of many observers. Although IB is expected to be present in running his business and in another major endeavor, he is nowhere to be found. Rumors have it that he has fled the country to escape possible apprehensions. Nonetheless, some people close to WS indicate that IB have not left, which makes it easy for him to provide for her needs and run his conglomerate from a distance.

Does PW even have an idea that IB is fooling around even though he has kept away from the eyes of the public? Regardless of where IB is for the moment, WS is definitely being taken care of.
