When an offer was too tempting to resist, VA immediately packed up and left his network to begin anew. This time, he was given dramatic roles that could showcase his acting depth and his projects featured him in the lead. Much was happening to his career then, but despite all his successes, rumors of his sexual preference kept emerging.
As he was being built up as part of a loveteam in his new network, all rumors about his sexuality had to be quashed. While his publicists were doing double time to counter speculations, his professional life was the opposite. Given his talent, he has been typecast in doing gay roles, which ranged from the entertaining and hilarious to the serious and relevant. His acting was convincing, which fueled the rumors.
Although denials were common, VA even went out in the open to inform the public that he has been seeing female stunner. This revelation aimed to diffuse sexual preference rumors. However, the hard truth was that VA’s popularity has dropped since the time he moved out of his network, as his present home could not seem to make a dent in the ratings game despite management support and creative projects.
However, here’s the clincher. While VA has denied being gay, certain individuals are claiming that they have allegedly slept with him, and thus denying the claim that he is straight. Of course, VA is guarding his reputation, as the local audience is quite unpredictable when it comes to a celebrity outing himself/herself. If ever VA comes out, opinions will range from support to condemnation. Still, respect for his privacy will prevail.
