Repost: Heart vs. Marian — Over ‘Fake’ Dolce & Gabbana T-shirt?

It seems like a fashion war is brewing between Kapuso actresses Heart Evangelista and Marian Rivera, a possible war started off by their supporters.

It all began with an Instagram post by @fashionpulis, where the two actresses were made the subject of an online fashion face-off called “Who wore it better?”

Next thing you know, netizens could not help but fight over their bets.

Many netizens were noticeably engaged in the said post, until one user by the handle @anne_bonhomme came in and accused Rivera of wearing a “fake” Dolce & Gabbana shirt. The commenter gave justifications to support her claim.

She was then answered by an Instagram account with the handle @thedantesfamily, which posts photos of Rivera, husband actor Dingdong Dantes and daughter Maria Letizia (Zia) Dantes. This Instagram account told @anne_bonhomme to first do her research.

Nonetheless, @anne_bonhomme still asserted her claim, saying she’s simply telling the truth and has no intention to be mean. She further explained that @thedantesfamily should properly compare the photos to see the difference.

This then called the attention of @loveluxebags, a lifestyle consultant who appears to be a personal shopper for Rivera, as per its official website loveluxebags.com. The lifestyle consultant struck back at @anne_bonhomme in Rivera’s defense.

The lifestyle consultant asserted that [she] is “a personal shopper contacted by Gabbana themselves” and “flew to [Singapore] to preview their collection in Asia.” The account also taunted @anne_bonhomme with questions such as “What else is there to prove?” and “What size do you wear? ‘Coz I shop for [a] model who wear[s] XXS or 0. Grow up, move on and let go of your baggage.”

In the end, @loveluxebags tagged its lawyer by the handle @kdfrias, and wrote, “Someone is trying to do something again. Same group, nonetheless. You know what to do.”

Meanwhile, @thedantesfamily shared photos earlier posted by @loveluxebags that allegedly prove the genuineness of Rivera’s Dolce & Gabbana shirt.

After the consecutive posts in defense of Rivera, the Instagram page of Evangelista’s supporter was deactivated.

Netizens also seemed to notice @anne_bonhomme’s sudden disappearance from the thread and on Instagram.

Meanwhile, @anne_bonhomme remains tagged in some photos at Evangelista’s official Instagram account.

Heart Evangelista and Marian Rivera have had personal differences with each other dating back to 2011. In 2015, both actresses declared that they have moved on from these issues. With this latest fashion controversy, will animosity be stirred again between the two? JB

She’s Got Her Way

Years of being in the limelight have probably shaped Feisty Celebrity (FC) into a character that borders on being amusing and irritating. Of course, the view depends on how one would judge her actions and words. However, FC has garnered much respect that anything she says will always get attention and when she talks, people listen because she is not among those personalities who go with the flow of getting along with everyone in the business. In other words, she can sometimes not care about who might get hurt with her statements, as long as she believes in her opinion.

As a celebrity, certain perks seem to be given to FC. As her presence and opinion are valued, workers who have the chance to meet her, only because of the context that they are going to wait or serve her, are on their toes to make sure FC gets the best of their product or service. Other than her opinion, FC has a reputation for knowing about the finer things in life, and thus, she would patronize only shops and restaurants that are known among the high crowd.

One time, FC and her friends chose to dine in an uppity restaurant. They placed their individual orders and FC chose a usual dish on the menu and a drink. The dish arrived and FC took a couple of bites and another. Then, she called the waiter and asked for the manager. The manager quickly asked how the dish was, and FC said that she was not happy with the taste and asked for the dish to be redone. The manager was facing FC, and thus, to avoid fuss, he brought it back to the kitchen.

When the redone dish was brought to FC, FC took another bite, but her expression was puzzling. The manager had an inkling when FC waved at him again. FC said the dish lacked the taste, and she asked for the dish to be improved. The manager took the plate and after a few minutes, returned the third attempt. FC took a bite and another. Finally, she called the manager again and told him that the dish was not excellent, and that she should not be billed for it. The manager was speechless, but no argument could be raised, as FC might create a big deal and embarrass the restaurant. When the bill came, FC only paid for the drink.

After the incident, her friends could not believe that FC got away with it. After coming out with three dishes, FC managed to fill herself up with the spoonfuls she took from each plate prior to asking it to be redone. The friends could only say that if one wants some freebie, one can be very creative. After all, FC’s bill only registered her drink.

Of course, none of the friends could not dare tell FC of horror kitchen stories about how food could sometimes be made extra special for a picky customer. However, they did go to a reputable restaurant and violating of the dish served to FC could not happen. For now, FC has her own style of getting free lunch.
