Endangering His Image with Her Joke
Playing the role of lovers, HH and PA had a controversial steamy scene in the project. They projected intimacy and kissed passionately without hesitation. On screen, HH and PA tried to make the scene as real and believable as possible. Thus, when the colleagues of PA watched the rushes, they started to tease her to make her feel guilty for fun. They started reminding her that she has a boyfriend, but it seems that this factor was negated when she did the touchy-feely scene with HH.
The colleagues knew that the boyfriend understood the rudiments of showbiz, which was the reason why they kept teasing PA. The teasing was really just for laughs. What they did not anticipate was the response of PA. HH has a well-toned body and exudes charm, and thus, his admirers often fantasized about him. Thus, one of the colleagues asked PA if HH were a ‘yummy kisser.’
PA tactlessly responded that the kiss was not sweet, as she and HH were on the same plane as to whom they would like to kiss. The colleagues were shocked at the direct answer. Although rumors of HH’s sexuality have hounded him since he started becoming a household name, his handlers are very keen not to dignify such rumors. Even HH has kept mum about his sexual preference, and the network has done its damage control by pairing him off with many hot actresses. Occasionally, he admits to having a girlfriend, and yet his believability factor is low.
Unfortunately, a Production Staff (PS) overheard the trying-to-be-witty remark of PA. Immediately, PS called PA and reprimanded her for not being discreet with such a statement. PS pointed out that PA could have been overheard and be quoted as the one who confirmed the sexual orientation of HH.
