The Cost of Giving Up

Love is the most wonderful feeling especially if both parties believe they have found the right person to spend the rest of their lives with in a happy home. While some couples wait for the right time to settle down, others plunge into the ceremony and hope everything will turn out for the better. Sadly, many couples who took the quick route do not really last, as the husband and wife discover traits that were hidden when they were falling in love.

The high rate of separation among young couples these days is being blamed for the attitude developed and encouraged by the advancement of technology. As everyone wants quick solutions and patience runs short, couples think more of quitting rather than resolving matters. The thinking is that issues are easily solved by cutting the source of the problem, and that is usually deemed as the marriage itself.

At the onset, Young Male Celebrity (MC) and Pretty Personality (PP) seemed in love and were even tagged as the relationship goal for millennials. MC had a promising career and was hoped to break into an elusive market for young performers.

Quietly, the pair returned to the country and that’s when rumors of separation emerged. Post after post, social media became abuzz with the former couple’s predicaments. Soon after, the picture painted of MC was that of a womanizer, and unfortunately, PP allegedly hinted that was indeed the cause of the breakup. PP was too upset, as she discovered that she was not the only one.

However, another source said that something happened along the way, which could have led to their impending disagreements. When MC thought he was about to hit it big in his career, he started preparing by investing in state of the art equipment. The problem was the source of funds, and the solution was provided by no other than the family of PP. Thus, probably without closely monitoring expenses, the alleged debt had reached a seven-figure amount, not in pesos, but in dollars. To make it worse, other creditors lent MC the money to finance his tech needs. Obviously, the hope of making it big went bust, and with financial trouble hovering around his head, MC had to come home. While his family might be well off, they do not have that much money to pay off the alleged debts fully.

Basically, MC was faced with tough situations, which could make or break him. This financial trouble as well as lack of career might have added to his pressure. Then, the choice to challenge his marriage came forth. PP is not one woman who would play the martyred wife, and thus, she opted to give in to the pressure as well.

Recently, the couple was said to have finally resolved matters for their future. No one wants to see a marriage end up in separation, but perhaps, for the couple, living separate lives is the better option.

‘Lots of things can be fixed. Things can be fixed. But many times, relationships between people cannot be fixed, because they should not be fixed. You're aboard a ship setting sail, and the other person has joined the inland circus, or is boarding a different ship, and you just can't be with each other anymore. Because you shouldn't be.’― C. Four Deadly Dangers of Diabetes

Complications from diabetes develop gradually. The longer you have diabetes and the more your blood sugar is less controlled, the more complications you might face. Diabetes complications may be disabling and may even be life threatening. Possible complications include:

1.       Cardiovascular disease – diabetes increases the risk of coronary artery disease, chest pain, heart attack, stroke and atherosclerosis. The high levels of blood sugar affect the blood flow and functions of the arteries which makes a person more susceptible to cardiovascular diseases.

2.       Nerve damage – excess sugar can injure the walls of the body’s capillaries that nourish the nerves. This can cause a tingling, burning sensation with numbness on the toes, fingers and legs. If left untreated, there is a possibility to lose the sense of feeling in the affected limbs.

3.       Kidney damage – The kidneys contain tiny blood vessels that filter the waste from the blood. Diabetes can damage the filtering system which can lead to kidney failure in the long run.

4.       Eye damage – diabetes can damage the blood vessels of the retina which can cause blindness.  Diabetes can also increase the risks of serious vision conditions like glaucoma and cataract.

These complications may sound impossible but diabetes can really make you face these serious consequences. In order to avoid having diabetes, take control of your blood sugar level with a supplement that contains powerful natural ingredients such as Bitter Go!

Repost: Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte Mental Health Assessment Reveals Tendency to 'Violate Rights and Feelings'

The president of the Philippines is a “highly impulsive individual who has difficulty controlling his urges and emotions” and suffers from a long-term psychological condition, according to a rediscovered assessment of his mental health.

A psychological report on Rodrigo Duterte was commissioned by Dr Natividad Dayan during the annulment of his marriage to ex-wife Elizabeth Zimmerman in July 1998, when Mr Duterte was mayor of Davao City.

The assessment found Mr Duterte suffered from “antisocial narcissistic personality disorder”, a pattern of abnormal behaviour characterised by "gross indifference, insensitivity and self-centeredness" and "grandiose sense of self-entitlement and manipulative behaviours".

The politician was described as having a “pervasive tendency to demean, humiliate others and violate their rights and feelings”, and was “unable to reflect on the consequences of his actions.”

He was found to readily engage in “unhealthy and destructive behaviours” and had “poor capacity for objective judgement”, failing to “see things in the light of facts”.

Mr Duterte recently made headlines for launching expletive-laden attacks against the EU and US president Barack Obama, as thousands continue to be killed without trial as part of the leader’s war on illegal drugs.

Court papers from the trial showed Dr Dayan concluded Mr Duterte was “psychologically incapacitated to handle essential marital obligations”, due to his “inability for loyalty and commitment” and “lack of capacity for remorse and guilt".

During the court case, lawyers also spoke of Mr Duterte’s “womanising” ways and detailed claims of numerous affairs he was involved in while married to Ms Zimmerman.

In her testimony, Ms Zimmerman described her marriage to Duterte as “miserable and unhappy” and criticised his volatile temper, according to ABS-CBN News.

Filipino actress Agot Isidro recently launched an angry online tirade against Mr Duterte, describing him as a "psychopath" and telling him to "get checked".

More than 3,600 people have been killed in Mr Duterte’s first 100 days in office as part of his brutal crackdown on drugs, human rights experts have estimated.

The president recently said his extrajudicial crackdown on drug dealers and criminals will continue because he “cannot kill them all”.

Amnesty International said Mr Duterte’s “first 100 days as President have been marked by state-sanctioned violence on a truly shocking scale”
