Confirming the Secret
Whenever Seasoned Hunk (SH) is asked about his lovelife, he simply dodges the question and requests for privacy. Thus, curious reporters clam up and ask him other questions just so they would have something to write about him. Although SH has not been visible lately, his name would crop up every so often because he has already earned a reputation in the industry.
Other than his reputation as an actor, SH belongs to the era of actors who seem enamored by women deeply. Thus, this attraction to women has led SH to various troubles. During his bachelor days, women went after him, and women whom he rejected were sometimes traumatized, as they were not the chosen one.
When SH chooses, he makes sure his object receives the best from him. During one of his relationships, SH made sure he and His Partner (HP) then had a beautiful home to raise their kids. Prior to settling down, SH assured HP that he would be a good provider, and he did not back down on his word. HP gave up her career to take care of their family. Sadly, their relationship was too convoluted, and thus, they parted ways.
SH, however, was always hounded by fans, press, and other parties obsessed with his current relationships. Even HP would be dragged into such situations, even though she had made it clear, SH is a closed book. Thus, photos and speculations would appear in social media forums concerning SH and his love interests. When his fans noticed his closeness with Pretty Face (PF), SH was asked if she was the one. SH would often that respond. Particularly, questions would revolve on whether PF was with his child, but SH would rather not reply at all.
Pictures do not lie and so do careless comments on his social media accounts. After keeping things quiet, SH and PF have been seen in public and behaving like a couple. Earlier this week, SH and PF were seen in a prestigious store looking at the stuff in the children’s section. The two were pleasant and accommodating towards people who requested for a photo. Even at his age, SH is still a headturner, and the reaction of people nearby was expected. However, some overheard that SH was speaking in English, while PF, who did not grow up in the country, was the one speaking in Filipino. As the couple looked at the items, onlookers assumed that the two seemed to be preparing for a child’s party. Perhaps, rumors were indeed true and that their love did bring a new baby into the world. The question is if SH and PF would finally admit that they do have a little one.

Cherry Pie Picache came to the defense of her fellow actress Agot Isidro, whose post branding President Duterte as a “psychopath” went viral on social media over the weekend.
At a Mass on occasion of the World Day Against Death Penalty, Picache also reaffirmed her commitment against death penalty and the spate of extrajudicial killings.
“A colleague of mine, Agot Isidro, went viral because of her message, her opinion and her stand. I want to say that I’m one with her. We’re artists, we’re in arts and culture, but we have our own minds, conviction and principles,” she said on Monday.
Picache attended a Mass at the chapel of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines in Intramuros on occasion of October 10, which is the World Day Against Death Penalty.
Isidro took to Facebook on Friday to criticize Duterte for his expletive-laced tirade against the United States and international bodies over the issue of foreign aid.
She also branded the President as a psychopath, telling him to get himself checked by a psychiatrist.
In her speech, Picache stressed that she was against the death penalty and the spate of extra-judicial killings amidst the government’s war against drugs.
“I believe that execution or death is not the means to achieve justice. Violence and death are not the way to end crimes. I’m here to express my disagreement over the extra-judicial killings,” she said.
She noted that she was also a victim herself, after her mother, Zenaida, 75, was killed in September 2014.
“I am also a victim of violence. My mother was killed two years ago by a drug addict. And just the same, I’m here to reaffirm my commitment against the death penalty,” Picache said.
She added: “I am a mother. I want my child to grow up in a free, democratic society. … Let us continue praying because our country needs it now.” SFM

Veteran singer Gary Valenciano has finally broken his silence regarding the marital woes of his son, Gab, and his wife Tricia Centenera.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News and other reporters at the sidelines of the “Ang Probinsyano” anniversary concert last Saturday, Gary said his son is currently doing fine despite the problems that he and Centenera are now facing.
“Gab is okay. Alam naman natin na medyo may mga pagsubok na kanyang hinaharap but I think every family goes through it. We are handling it as a family,” he said.
Gary said his relationship with Centenera also remains the same.
“I’m very close to Tricia. Tricia is always going to be my daughter. Meron talaga silang pinagdaanan but I really would like to tell people, just like all of you watching, there are things na you keep within family because that’s the only way it can be solved. I’d keep it that way,” he said.
Gary also shrugged off rumors that a third party caused Gab and Centenera’s separation.
“There will always be third parties that will come out because Gab is a naturally friendly kind of person. So siyempre kapag medyo mainit-init ang pinag-uusapan, kahit maging mabait siya ng kahit kaunti sa babae, laging mali-link, ‘Uy baka yun ang [third party].’ I don’t think that’s the case,” he said.
While admitting that he is the most affected in their family, Gary remains hopeful that Gab and Centenera’s relationship can still be ironed out.
“I am affected because they are my children. Flesh and blood ko si Gabriel and I love Tricia very, very much. Napakagrande ng kanilang kasal tapos biglang ito ang nangyayari,” he said.
“The thing is I always believe that nothing is impossible with God. Kung ako buhay pa after 38 years of being a diabetic, siguro puwede pang mabuhay at maiwan na masigla at nabubuhay pa rin ang marriage nila,” he added.
In an earlier statement, Gary’s wife Angeli requested for privacy as they try to deal with the situation, saying it is a "family matter."
She went on to note that "everyone makes mistakes."
"The Valencianos' stand: This is a family matter. Not everything you read is true. Everyone makes mistakes. But this is too sensitive a matter to simply make statements about. We request for privacy as we try to handle this hurdle in our life with wisdom and faith," she said.
Last month, Centenera told ABS-CBN News that her husband is asking for a divorce.
She also claimed that Gab was emotionally abusive, and stressed that she is not the unfaithful one in the relationship.
Gab and Centenera got married three times – in a civil ceremony in the United States in 2014, and in Tagaytay and Boracay in 2015.
