She Needs to Push Further

Celebrities are human beings regardless of the strong and whole characters they portray on screen. If in their roles, they radiate sadness after being left by an onscreen lover, such predicament worsens in real life. Unlike in teleseryes when breakups are followed by moving on for the leads, in real life, moving on might not be as easy in real life.
When high profile celebrity Attractive Celebrity (AC) and Dashing Boy (DB) hooked up, they surprised many fans as they were only together for a brief moment for their project and they were both still committed to their partners, which they wanted fans to believe. Given that DB hardly speaks of his personal life, fans just accept the fact whenever he has new off-screen partners.
Because their relationship came at an awkward time and their involved parties did not know the end was near, AC and DB stood firm on their fondness for each other. Time passed and both were respected as far as their relationship was concerned. As years went by, their ex-partners seemed to have moved on, and many assumed that AC was the right one for DB. Time proved the well-wishers wrong.
Just as quickly as the way they started, news broke out that AC and DB have separated. After all the years of being patient with each other and dealing with each one’s idiosyncrasies, their actions indicated that they were not to last long. Thus, when a relationship ends, expect moving on to follow.
Unfortunately, AC seems to be having a hard time moving on. Typical of women whose relationships ended, AC changed her hairstyle and continued working hard. On the outside, no one saw her grieving, but on the inside, she was devastated. To heal her heart, AC moved from one place to another, but then a new environment was not enough. She soon reshaped her body and was now more confident to pose in revealing attires for her social network. While she seemed to be moving on, her actions only tell part of the story.
After choosing the most attractive photo, most people will keep it for themselves or share it in social media for their friends. However, AC is different. While people think she has moved on, AC would allegedly send DB similar photos that show off her trimmed body. Worse, she even writes notes that allude to her relationship with DB. Thus, DB could only shake his head and feel sorry that AC cannot seem to move on truly. .
Forgiving does not erase the bitter past. A healed memory is not a deleted memory. Instead, forgiving what we cannot forget creates a new way to remember. We change the memory of our past into a hope for our future. – Lewis B. Smedes

Repost: Supreme Court Allows Grace Poe to Run for President

In a landmark ruling, the Supreme Court (SC) decided to save Senator Grace Poe from disqualification as presidential candidate in the 2016 election.
The SC en banc on Tuesday, March 8, voted 9-6 to reverse the decision of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to cancel Poe's certificate of candidacy (COC).
Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno was among the 9 justices who voted in favor of Poe. The rest are Presbitero Velasco Jr, Diosdado Peralta, Lucas Bersamin, Jose Perez, Jose Mendoza, Marvic Leonen, Francis Jardeleza, and Benjamin Caguioa.
Of the 9, four are appointees of President Benigno Aquino III: Sereno, Leonen, Jardeleza and Caguioa.
The 6 justices who voted against Poe are Antonio Carpio, Teresita Leonardo de Castro, Mariano del Castillo, Arturo Brion, Estela Perlas-Bernabe, and Bienvenido Reyes.
Of the 6, two are appointes of Aquino: Bernabe and Reyes. Three of them – Carpio, Brion and De Castro – were part of the Senate Electoral Tribunal that earlier voted in favor of Poe. The 3 justices dissented in that SET verdict, insisting that Poe is not a natural-born citizen.
The verdict came after recent surveys showed Poe as the front runner in the presidential race.
The High Court heard oral arguments on the case for 5 Tuesdays, from January 19 to February 16. The SC justices interpellated Poe's counsel Alex Poblador, Comelec's lead counsel Arthur Lim, Solicitor General Florin Hilbay, and former University of the East Law Dean Amado Valdez.

During the oral arguments, the views of at least 3 justices showed they were leaning toward recognizing Poe as a natural-born Filipino and as having established residency before running for president: Sereno, Leonen and Jardeleza.
Sereno and Leonen focused on the rights of foundlings, while Jardeleza expressed his concern that the Comelec might have deprived Poe of her rights to due process.
3 bodies
Poe fought disqualification cases against her before 3 bodies: the SET, Comelec, and the SC.
It was a close vote at the SET. In November 2015, the SET voted 5-4 to deny the petition to disqualify Poe from the 2013 senatorial polls.
A month later, in December 2015, the Comelec en banc decided to dismiss Poe's appeal to allow her to run. The commissioners voted separately on the two cases involving the senator's citizenship and residency requirements: the one handled by the First Division and the other by the Second Division. Both divisions previously ruled against Poe.
At the SC, the oral arguments showed that the justices were split on at least least 4 key issues on the case.
