Hi Fashionpulis! I would just like to share to you an editorial column written by Fely Sicam. As a Nurse and an editorial writer who grew up with MD relatives I am disheartened with her irresponsible journalism since facts and evidences must substantiate her opinions.
Resident doctors are real doctors since they are already licensed but have not yet specialised to a specific field. Also, the first part of Client Assessment is history taking, that is why the Nurse asked them first what happened to the patient. If she only knew that Doctors and Nurses go through physical, emotional, mental and financial crisis just to practice their profession and do their passion.
Doctors and Nurses even other Allied Health Professionals deserve respect since we don't experience holidays, we don't get enough sleep, we are underpaid, we have less time spent with out families and we have the huge responsibility of saving lives.

Hard to Keep An Image if Actions Show Otherwise

Similar to showbiz personalities, some athletes are enjoying the limelight because of their awesome playmaking and impressive performances in their respective sports. Fans of all genders gravitate toward such athletes and follow their lives either through their social media accounts or write ups in the dailies. Some fans are so loyal that they follow the career of these athletes from the start of discovery and even after retirement. Thus, manufacturers and networks are quick to mine the rich potential of athletes as endorsers and actors, respectively, because of their popularity.
Over the past years, Hot Athlete (HA) has amassed followers because of his skills and brand of play. Whenever he is on the floor, he brings the house down with outstanding statistics and his confidence in winning one for the team. His achievements have made his affiliated university and sports teams proud.
With his popularity, it was no longer surprising that his every move would be made known by media. Thus, when HA started to be seen with Pretty Player (PP), reactions were diverse. First, loyal fans believed that hanging out with PP indicated that love could transcend sports and rivalries. Second, diehard fans feared that their public relationship was bound to distract both from playing well in their games. However, for those who had followed the story of HA, they felt a certain affinity as his closest kin played the same game as PP, and HA repeating something similar was interesting.
After the playing season was over, HA was no longer seen with PP. Soon, social media divulged what their followers dreaded. One camp said that the full schedule of HA was to blame for his short-lived relationship with PP. Still, others believed that it was PP at fault. Nonetheless, people observed that HA often asked his peers to go to parties and other gimmicks. This observation prompted comments about HA’s being busy with other ladies and not with his career.
Fans have even noticed that immediately after HA and PP split, he was already seen with Explosive Player (EP). Moving on seemed easy for HA, as he even took time to bond with EP when they were abroad for a sports event. Now, people fear that HA might become a player even in love, as he might be having a different girlfriend every season he plays. His latest project does not help to erase that playboy image. His name was linked to a Pretty Network Talent, but both camps have denied any involvement with each other. Will his finding the right love be good or bad for his career? Time will tell as HA will soon gear up for the big time sports events.

Willing Actors Receive a Generous Surprise

Unlike other careers, acting is one of the least stable jobs. Actors start as ordinary people and gain fame because of their uniqueness, looks, and talent. While connections help at the onset, staying in showbiz is difficult. When stardom fades, the actor has several options. First, when he/she is no longer bankable in front of the cameras, he/she can move on to other jobs in the industry. Some actors have shifted to directing, writing, or producing. Second, he/she can settle down, raise a family, and live as a private citizen with a career that is not within the realm of showbiz. Third, others who cannot accept their loss, unfortunately, turn to vices and allow these bad habits to take over their lives. Soon, they become impoverished and become favorite subjects for human-interest programs. Fourth, others keep their bodies in shape or continue to appear sporadically even if the roles are merely supporting younger talents. Finally, others have succumbed to confidential relationships, which have kept them financially afloat.
When Vain Talent (VT) was no longer in demand, people wondered what had happened to him. Some rumors said that he married and settled down, while others have subjected him to nasty tales. However, a persistent rumor is that VT is the kept boy toy of a Non-Showbiz Figure (NS). No one will dare expose either VT or NS, as things will get very messy for anyone who would. Although VT is sometimes visible in media, his career has reached its peak several years ago. Age is catching up on him and with the emergence of fresher and more talented actors, his appearances are now very rare.
Sometime ago, Fading Actor (FA) approached VT as he needed money to pay the mounting bills that have accumulated from his failed projects. As FA has no movie or TV projects and many debts, he had to try everything to keep him out of possible consequences of his actions. Knowing that NS is generous, FA asked VT for a favor again. VT had already invited FA to dance for the amusement of NS, which is the reason that FA knew what he could possibly get into. FA wanted to know if he could dance again for NS and be paid handsomely.
The response of NS was swift. He said that FA was welcome to dance again for him, but he has one major condition. NS added that he wanted more than just FA doing a macho dancer number. This time, NS wanted FA to do it with VT while he watches to his delight. Being the good friend, VT told FA what NS wanted them to do and he got shocked at the reply of FA. FA said that the condition was okay with him, as he and VT were both actors and they can just play the roles. However, he had his own terms, which was a very hefty fee, as he needed the money and the request was unexpected.
After some negotiations and scheduling, NS got his wish and the actors acted out the scene he requested. When the show was over, NS handed the payment to FA. When FA saw the amount, he was speechless, as it was more than the amount he had set. FA was very grateful and thanked NS profusely. If FA got his fee, VT did not go home empty handed. On top of his usual allowance, VT received quite an amount from NS, who was happy with what he saw and felt.
