He Can’t Be Tamed

Controversial Personality CP is reportedly becoming more snooty and difficult than ever. It appeared that her enviable New Relationship NR did little to refine her image and social skills. Could there be something deeper, something more than meets the eye?
When CP went to a parlor recently to have her hair done, she was not in her best mood, as usual. While she was seated, CP was talking to someone on the phone and was overheard to be in argument with the person. Reportedly, she was boiling mad at the report she got that NR went out of town and checked in in a hotel with a Pretty Model PM in tow.
Meanwhile, as her hair was about to be rinsed by the Parlor Staff PS, CP reminded PS to be very careful with her hair as it is vital and crucial in her endorsement career. She further added that only a specific water temperature had to be used for the rinse. But as luck would have it, CP felt some hot water landed on her head.
Shocked, CP immediately stood up, faced PS and splashed water on her as she went ballistic with what she did to her hair. She scolded her so bad, ranted with all her might that brought PS to tears. CP called for the manager who then apologized and appeased her.
Days after, CP may have realized the extent of what she did and its possible consequence on her. From an insider, she apologized to PS saying that she just had a bad day that time. Reportedly, CP even went the extra mile - she wrote a check worth a generous amount and sent it to PS as a peace offering. Wow! It is now PS who is sporting that long hair!
Meanwhile, will NR be as lucky knowing that he and his PM were the cause of it all? This we got to see.

Anything Goes, and It’s Done!

As showbiz adage goes: “ You are only as good as your last performance.”
Many actors go in and out of ‘fashion,’ precisely why most of them work their butts off when given a good material for it is an opportunity for them to either shine or be irrelevant forever..
The entire run of the Popular Series PS, became a test of mettle for two of its lead stars – LS1 and LS2. To her credit, even without really trying, LS2 obviously delivered a sterling performance, getting favorable reviews from televiewers and critics alike. On the other hand, while LS1 tried to be at par, her best wasn’t good enough. She was apparently no match to LS2, something that LS1 felt like a blow to her face.
As such, whether they liked it or not, some animosity had developed between the two, only they were civil about it. Expectedly, as the weeks and months went by, the working atmosphere became far from ideal, as it was kind of toxic for them. Allegedly, a kind of ‘silent war’ loomed on the set.
Despite her more inferior status being ‘less sikat’, LS2 refused to be sideswiped by LS1’s insecurity. She knew she had to be consistent in her performance as she needed further boost to her career more than anything else – and PS was her perfect vehicle.
Towards the last taping days of PS, LS2 became more fierce in her every scene, especially those with LS1 that called for more intense acting. Consequently, the gap between them widened and soured even more. As if to add fuel to the fire, something happened that none of them quite expected.
LS1 had long been suspected to have the hots for Hot Actor HA who played a support role for PS. One day, the two were allegedly caught by LS2 and a staff kissing in a room. The kissing rumor spread, LS1 was mad, suspicious that LS2 was behind it. Staff told her that there was alleged video of that kissing. She panicked all the more and told the staff to stop it and she would pay big.
Those in the know asked why LS1 got so scared. Was it because of the effect it would have on her already eroding career, or is she so afraid to lose her alleged ‘mucho dinero’ of a boyfriend if her secret is found out? Argh, surely LS1 didn’t see this coming.
“The image is one thing and the human being is another. It's very hard to live up to an image, put it that way.”

Amalia Fuentes Answers Innuendos of Alyanna Martinez

Veteran actress Amalia Fuentes has expressed her gripes on the recent comments of her granddaughter, Alyanna Martinez. Known to be outspoken and not one to back out of any issue, Fuentes was offended when she was left out of the funeral rites of her only child, Liezl Sumilang (Liezl's maiden name), who passed away last March 14, 2015.
After Fuentes expressed her sentiments during the coverage of the said rites, the young Martinez posted messages, which were alleged to be addressed to Fuentes, in her social media account. Fuentes has recently answered these messages in a Facebook thread.
First, Fuentes said that she will not think twice that Martinez was one of those who led to leave her and Romeo Vasquez (Liezl’s father) out of the rites for cremation. Fuentes alleged that she was not informed of the venue of her daughter’s cremation, which was the reason why she came late.
Second, Fuentes challenged Martinez if she were ready to have her life out in the open. Fuentes said that her life is an open book, and that she has nothing to hide anymore, unlike Martinez. Fuentes further revealed that she was the one who paid $4000 for her birth.
Fuentes accused Martinez of adding stress to Sumilang by leaving the family home to live-in with her boyfriend. Fuentes claimed that Sumilang was distraught by the idea that the eldest daughter had opted for such arrangement, and Sumilang has suffered for the past three years. Keeping the “happy family” image took its toll on Sumilang as well.
Third, Fuentes demanded the return of P2M that she sent to the family prior to her demise. One of the messages that Liezl told a close relative was that she had not spent the amount. Fuentes said that she has documents to prove that she issued MCs for the said amount. Further, Fuentes expressed that since she no longer has an heir, she has nothing more to hide or to protect.
