Still Getting Cranky

Getting over a former lover seems to be easy for some people, whereas others pretend to have let go, but actually are still licking their wounds. This statement summarizes the travails of Seemingly Fine Actress (SA). Over the past year, SA has projected an image of control and that she has surpassed her heartache. However, actions speak louder than words.
Behind the cameras, one sure way of ruining SA’s day is to mention the name of Feisty Talent (FT). Even in an innocent conversation, SA will go ballistic and make the other party feel her displeasure over the cropping up of FT. While people around her would like to believe that SA has forgiven and forgotten, SA behaves otherwise. In front of the camera and the live audience, SA and FT are cordial to each other, which is very professional and praiseworthy. However, in private moments, SA does not want to have anything to do with FT.
It was not like this a few years ago. When they were both starting out, they were the best of friends. Like non-showbiz teenagers, SA and FT became very close and even confided their deep secrets to each other. Thus, FT was privy to the non-public relationship of SA and Mr. Heartbreaker (MH). As a loyal friend, FT never divulged nor hinted at anything publicly about SA and MH. When SA and MH broke up, FT was the shoulder to cry on.
Months passed and SA and MH seemed to have moved on. While SA remained unattached, MH was having a field day with his relationships. One event led to another until MH became close to FT. Quickly, they became an item. At this point, the bff relationship between SA and FT crumbled. Unlike SA and MH, FT and MH did a risky decision, which was to admit their relationship publicly. This gamble earned the ire of the fans of SA towards FT, who was then subjected to name-calling and other accusations, such as “boyfriend-thief.” Of course, the critics refused to accept the fact that FT and MH became an item many months after SA and MH broke up.
As FT and MH are growing strong, with MH professing that he has found the perfect match, SA is apparently still hurting. Imagine what happened when a staff unthinkingly brought a magazine with FT and MH on the cover to where SA was chilling. Poor staff!

They Just Had a Queer and Rolling Performance

Former Heartthrob FH had left a mark in the in the industry during his heyday. Back then, at the peak of his popularity, FH was the talk of the town, especially in the gay community. But because he was still in-demand in both movies and television then, he had the luxury of turning down so-called indecent proposals.
In the long run, just like what happened to others before him, he was eaten up by his fame and sooner than later, he was already self-destructing (read: substance abuse). Thus, projects came in trickles. Soon, FH reportedly engaged in the flesh trade to keep body and soul…and vices together. Then, he disappeared for years – only to come back and revived his career anew.
Luckily, a few tv projects and out-of-town shows were entrusted to him. But for him, it was still not enough as he had to support a family. He was desperate that he would agree to be extremely downsized and paid measly amounts for every encounter. The gay kingdom had a field day falling in line. FH must be so irresistible that he attracted even showbiz’s big names as well. FH took every opportunity and hit the ground running at all times.
One day, a talented Son of a Legend SL was at a studio busy prepping up for a Family Event FE. SL was telling A Colleague AC who was passing by: “ May booking ako mamaya with FH. “ Soon, FH was already giving SL that ’bottom’ encounter. After that, FH, who wanted to shoot more bookings that day, immediately rushed to yet another one, this time with an aging Actor/Host AH. While AH was giving him a head, it smelled so bad that he angrily sent FH away. Turned out, in his rush, FH didn’t even clean up himself up after previously giving SL that bottom time. Gross!
On the phone while taping for His Show HS, AH was mad, shouting at FH for that smelly encounter they had - so loud that AC, who incidentally is part of HS, heard him. AC was totally clueless who AH was talking to, until AH’s lengthy rant was giving away too many details that made him (AC) conclude. Who would know that his friend SL and talent AH shared FH that day? Small family, small world, indeed!
