A Grand Assumption

It was quite a breath of fresh air when PC embarked on her first television project that got her paired with a popular actor/host. She was not only pretty but was really smart, too. That one tv show led to another, and another, and soon, PC became a familiar name in showbiz.
Having attained such, the wise and calculating PC probably thought that like other popular celebrities, she can capitalize on her name - do business and create a brand - that people, most especially her fans, would buy… hook, line and sinker.
Soon enough, PC began selling items like accessories, bags, and other stuff which she claimed she designed/created herself. She peddled them through her various social media accounts where she has huge following. Unfortunately, much to her and her fans’ dismay, the stuff she was selling, particularly the bags, fell short of their expectation.
People alleged that the bags PC claimed to have designed were so mediocre and very ordinary-looking. They pointed out that such designs could be easily found in department stores, and even in flea markets. Add to that the pricey tags of each item were not exactly encouraging.
Perhaps, the hefty cost could be justified had the bags been quality- made, at the very least. But that one important aspect was what PC overlooked – and it backfired. Apparently, PC miscalculated her market and the impact of her name to them. In this day and age, consumers who want value for money are definitely less forgiving.
After repeatedly reading nasty comments - “not so unique styles” or “rip-off from a bargain center,” PC, who was not used to being bashed, eventually blocked these alleged trolls - but not without realizing that some critics may have a point.
Soon she significantly reduced her bags’ prices, and ultimately sought for the appropriate price range from her followers in another status along with a warning: Bashers will not be allowed.

So Much Stubbornness

Sometimes, taping is delayed because PA would arrive late. Worse, she would have a sluggish start, which adds to the woes of the production. The crew could not admonish PA as they fear they will be subjected to a mouthful. Then, she might get into one of her moods and leave the set, which would result in more problems. PA cannot be fired as her character is central to the plot.
The current behavior and attitude of PA is being thought to be the outcome of her alleged involvement in various vices. Yet, despite these problems, PA is still an interesting performer, and the network is still confident that PA would be able to deliver.
Will PA use this vehicle to prove her detractors wrong? Will her attitude prevail, and allow this decent comeback to slip away? When will PA realize that giving chances has an end?
