Christmas season is a gift-giving season. Regardless of one's economic status, giving gifts has become a social obligation that one cannot ignore. Your gifts tell who you are, what your feelings and intentions are.

Most showbiz people who work behind the scenes - especially those who hold Positions of Power PP - are always wearing "pregnant smiles" during the holiday season. Showbiz observers believe that more than ever, it is during times like these that PP feel their awesome existence aka power of their positions.

Stars kowtow to these PP for it is a given that the fate of their careers are at their mercy. For them to be always on the good graces of PP, stars know that they need to strive hard not to displease them at anytime.

PP on the other hand know very well the extent of politics of their positions. Some abuse it, others abuse it. That's the reality.

One of the PP is a Network PR. PR is a feisty one who is often embroiled in controversies. At the onset of the holiday season, PR reportedly created a masterlist of all the stars of the television network. Opposite each name, PR noted the kind of holiday gift that each star gave him.

Supposedly, the list would be his guide to check which star gave him what. The cost of the gift would allegedly determine the extent of work that PR would give a particular star. Simply put, the value of the gift would be commensurate to the value of the PR's efforts.

Woe to those who have disappointed PR, they would be doomed for 2014!

She is Feeling Heavenly

Lovely Actress LA is very visible with seeming endless projects to her name. At the rate her shows are going, it seems like she is one highly-prized possession of Her Network HN. But don’t be fooled, just yet. From the grapevine, HN is bent on giving her these projects to maximize the millions in talent fees that had to be exhausted from her guaranteed contract.

LA's previous handler allegedly moved heaven and earth to ink lucrative contracts for her, which was why their parting of ways proved to be so hard to take for the former. It appeared to her that with all her smarts, she was obviously had on this one.

However, LA's projects have not been that remarkable as to deserve a primetime slot on television, particularly the recent ones. Supposedly, the ball is now on her court, it is up to her to strategize to maintain her status. Some observers believe that LA must work very hard, especially that HN has a real favorite that the public is so aware of.

But LA is reportedly unperturbed. Now that she is completely on her own, disengaged from the people who allegedly made life difficult for her, LA is supposedly very happy that things turn out so positively for her in all aspects. Sherevealed that she is very happy with the way HN is handling her career, citing that it is a blessing that she has not been lacking in projects since.

On the one hand, the same is not true with the people who used to handle her. Reportedly, the relationship with a relative will continue to get bitter before it gets better. Obviously, LA can not have her cake and eat it, too.
