Some HM are so good and trustworthy that their MA go easy on them and treat them as family members. Depending on financial standing, some MA even spoil their HM’s with trips abroad as a reward for good work done. However, not all MA are created equal.
Standup comedian and tv personality SC is one of the most talented in his field in local showbiz. SC‘s climb to success was never an easy one. It was fought with much difficulty. But talent and guts prevailed - he definitely paid his dues to get to where he is now. SC is quite in demand, never lacking in projects whether here or abroad. Needless to say, he earns a decent amount to live and afford life’s little pleasures.
But how true that SC is allegedly cruel to his HM’s? People who know him know that he is not exactly an ideal boss to these poor HM. Reportedly, SC’s HM complain that they often go hungry from a day’s work and there’s often nothing to eat. When this happens they can’t do anything as they were strongly admonished not to touch anything on the cupboard.
HM still remember when they made a mistake to cook some noodles from the cupboard as they were so hungry already. Along with it, they also had a small slice of Spam canned meat. When SC learned about them eating Spam, he was so mad and he berated them , warning them strongly never to touch anything again from his pantry. And to make sure that HM comply, SC reportedly strictly monitors everything in his food supplies.
Just as SC is reportedly a generous lover to his “boytoys,” he is such a stingy master to his HM.
“More often than not, it's the nouveau who demean the poor. May they choke on their greed.”

Zooming in on the Broadcast Arrangements of their Marriage

A good-looking showbiz couple is planning to get married soon. The future groom (FG) is a former model who has proven his versatility in both comedy and drama. After a few years, FG has proven that loyalty and patience can earn him a niche in his network.
The future bride (FB) started in a small role in one of the best teleseryes of the same network. Her network took care of her as FB had that x-factor, she was given her own solo projects in teleseryes that became hits. Eventually, FB ventured into movies successfully. Her movies with her perennial leading man are always box-office draws.
As the years passed, both FG and FB have been hounded by rumors questioning their preference despite being linked to good-looking women and men, respectively. Thus, eyebrows were raised when news broke out that FG and FB were already an item.
In interviews, both have expressed that they want to spend their lives with each other - thus the pressure of marriage began. FG and FB are old enough and financially stable to get married. However, some sources say that the camps of FG and FB are allegedly trying to sell the rights of their wedding coverage to their network to defray expenses and earn some extra, too. However, to this day, the network executives have yet to reply.
Nowadays, celebrity weddings are following a trend of commercialism and ex-deals, thus affecting the sanctity of such milestone.
If and when FG and FB do get married, will the public be treated to a highly-sponsored and tv commercial-ladened show? Will the network treat this wedding as another commodity to be sold to sponsors? Ironically, unlike other celebrities who have gotten married, FG and FB do not have as many endorsements, which might explain why the network is biding its time in its decision. Since, FG and FB are network talents, it would be unthinkable if another station covers their wedding.

Eugene, who was also present during the interview, added that she encourages Enchong to practice his versatility as an actor. “Kasi yun ang problema niya. Minsan, ‘Bakit ganon teenager pa rin ang tingin nila sa akin?’ Eh si Enchong naman nasa tamang edad na to tackle more mature roles. In fact, marami na rin siya na-experience sa buhay. Given his talent and looks, mas marami siyang roles na pwedeng gampanan na mapapakita niya yung totoo niyang talent. Manager niya ako noh,” the comedienne cheerfully stated.
In Tuhog, Enchong plays the role of a teenager who’s torn between staying faithful to his girlfriend who’s based in the province or losing his virginity to a girl due to peer pressure. He shared that he easily identified with his character because he had similar issues during his teenage years. “I have to be honest na lahat ng lalaki bago lumabas sa pagka puberty dadaan sa pagka-maniac stage. Pero during high school years, tumatakbo sa utak natin yun minsan sa school or minsan sa bahay. Yun ang subject ng utak natin—losing our virginity, is it still an issue losing our virginity, makakasabay ka ba sa mga kaibigan mo while everyone is losing their virginity, if you’re left out… Madali daanan yun kasi napagdaanan ko na. pero I think everyone especially sa mga older batch makakarelate kasi napagdaanan na nila yun, yung excitement to lose their virginity.”
Asked if losing his virginity is an issue for him, he easily replied, “Hindi kasi 2014 na. Ewan ko ha. Personally, I believe na bawat tao may ibang paniniwala. Siguro, kung paano mo lang iha-handle dun lang magiging issue.”
While some people believe in reserving their first kiss until marriage like a few celebrity couples, Enchong said that he has a different take on the matter. “Naniniwala ako na dapat may experience kayo before para matest ni’yo yung relationship niyo. Para hindi nagkakaproblema kapag kasal na kayo.”
