Rumors are moving around about how a Network Personality (NP) incurred debts via gambling online. Allegedly, NP started borrowing from colleagues and requested them to make his requests in confidence. NP did not want to be embarrassed. Lucky for NP, the colleagues who lent him did not ask the reason for his borrowing. They thought they were doing a good deed, as the pandemic has changed the financial standing of fellow workers. What was important for them was that they were helping NP. They had no idea that NP had asked most of them as well. They trusted NP and his word of honor to pay them back as soon as he resumes work.
The debts accumulated and NP had already thought of ways to skip paying his friends. He thought of running away, but his fate changed when a project was offered to him. Before his project could materialize, NP asked a Top Head (TH) if he could get his payment up front. TH agreed and NP received full payment. The project did not deliver as expected and NP had spent the amount given to him. However, NP knew he still had a next project and proceeded to ask TH to advance his pay.
While on the first project, co-workers noticed NP’s coming late and lack of energy. The co-workers had no idea that NP’s request was turned down. The behavior of NP reached TH, who had a heart-to-heart talk with him. NP was reminded that he already received full pay and he has to work for that. Of course, NP denied the speculation and assumed His Supervisors (HS) placed him in bad light. Subsequently, NP could not rely on an amiable relationship with HS.
HS allegedly proposed to drop NP if his attitude does not change, as other talents are waiting for work. Meanwhile, NP has not cleared his debts with his colleagues and his next project is in jeopardy.

Movie roles are often written based on characters concocted by a writer’s imagination or on talents who could be challenged by the parts. Sometimes, writers are instructed by producers to create a role for a specific talent for that to gain followers.
When Undecided Actor (UA) found out about a project was being made with him in mind, he became excited. After reading the script, UA was convinced to do the part. UA then consulted Influential Person (IP) about the project.
When IP went through the requirements of the script, disagreement followed. IP became uneasy with certain parts of the role that required UA to do more than his usual acting. UA needed to show a bit more of himself and engage in a few physical scenes. UA said he could handle the requirements and technology can always be done to enhance uncomfortable scenes. Still, IP was not convinced and opened up the idea that the project can lead to social media frenzy and bashing. Finally, UA realized IP’s opinion weighed more than the possibility of growing in the acting direction of his career.
UA told his friends about the botched offer. His friends were dismayed at the opportunity that slipped from his hands. Subsequently, he was advised not to always take what IP says to heart unless he wants to keep his career stagnant.

The Emissary (TE) had high hopes prior to meeting with Impetuous Personality (IP). TE has been trying to be the channel between IP and his party. However, patching things with IP is like moving heaven and earth, as IP has remained nonchalant and cold despite all attempts.
This time, TE was optimistic that time could have softened IP and would grant his request. All IP needed was a signature as required by the bank. TE relayed that his party only wanted what was due and IP can have the rest, which was more than enough to sustain the lifestyle IP had been accustomed to. However, TE got a litany from IP, who fumed. IP told TE to remind his party that she was right all along about their financial situation.
The tirade went on, and TE ran out of patience and left. Meanwhile, TE told his party about IP and proposed legal means to deal with the problem. However, TE’s proposal was thumbed down as his party did not want too much fuss and to upset IP further. Thus, for now, TE’s party will make do with their present means, as IP seems to be unwilling to give up even a single centavo.

Circumstances made Network Talent (NT) stand firm on a surprising decision. NT has been itching to explore other areas of her world, as she feels to have outgrown her place. NT attempted to test the waters and was successful. However, she returned out of goodwill, and of course, a binding contract. As the contract has ended, NT mulled over her path.
Before making up her mind, NT sent feelers of wanting challenging projects to make her stay. When a Decision-Maker (DM) found out what NT wanted, the feeling was that NT had the gall to make such demands and lacked debt of gratitude. After all, NT was given opportunities. If NT were granted projects successively despite poor ratings, losses would be incurred. NT found out the reaction and exchanged hurtful messages with DM.
Subsequently, a Close Relation (CR) apparently chided DM over weaknesses in promotion and build up. Moreover, CR said the Target Team (TT) can make gold even out of a trashy project. With CR’s influence, NT was surely moving to TT.
Meanwhile, TT was honest. TT welcomed NT, but could only offer less than what NT was used to. NT said the offer was fine as long as she has projects that can match her skills.

Repost: Manny Pacquiao Will Not Recall Bounty for Suspects in Dacera Case

Sen. Manny Pacquiao on Friday refused to withdraw the P500,000 bounty he placed for the arrest of all individuals who partied with flight attendant Christine Dacera before she died on New Year's day.
The reward money "will be converted as financial aid to the family of Christine" as soon as all persons of interest "voluntarily surrender" to investigators, Pacquiao said in a statement.
"Mananatili ang aking itinakdang pabuya na nagkakahalaga ng P500,000 upang matunton ang iba pang mga sangkot sa kasong ito," he said.
(The P500,000 reward will remain to trace other persons involved in this case.)
"Let it be clear however that this bounty was put up only to ensure that all the people who were present on the night leading to the discovery of Christine’s lifeless body would come forward and shed light about this incident," he said.
"They must submit themselves to investigating authorities so that we will know what really happened," he said.
Four of the persons of interest in the death of the 23-year-old flight attendant earlier urged Pacquaiao to recall the P500,000 bounty on their heads, with their legal counsel saying the monetary reward "affects the safety and security of these gentlemen."
"Considering nga may mga sumusunod sa kanila, merong mga nagsu-surveillance or nagvi-video sa labas ng bahay nila. So, we are appealing to them na i-recall po 'yung bounty talaga," Lawyer Mike Santiago told ANC's Headstart.
(Considering that there were people following them, who were doing surveillance or taking videos outside their homes. We are appealing to them to recall the bounty.)
"We are willing naman, 'yung mga kliyente namin na harapin at sagutin po ang reklamo na ito," he said.

Pacquiao said he is willing to help ensure the safety of those who would voluntarily present themselves before investigators to shed light on Dacera's death.
"Nakahanda po akong tumulong upang matiyak ang inyong kaligtasan dahil ako ay naniniwala na gaya ninyo at ng pamilya ni Christine, ang tangi nating hangad ay ang malaman ang tunay na katotohanan. We all want to know the truth," said the senator, who hails from the victim's hometown General Santos City.

"Sabihin ninyo sa tunay na nangyari upang mabawasan na ang mga haka-haka tungkol sa kasong ito. Wala pong dahilan upang kayo ay matakot kung kakampi ninyo ang katotohanan," he said.

Four of the 10 men who partied with Dacera on December 31 have surrendered to authorities and gave interviews to the media, saying that the flight attendant may have died due to natural causes.
ACT-CIS Party-list Rep. Eric Yap, who offered a P100,000 reward for information on suspects in the case, said "there is no need to recall per se the bounty placed on the persons of interest" in Dacera's death as it is "now considered as moot and now off the table" after they have presented themselves to authorities.
