The curious friends contacted someone from MC’s camp to seek answers. They were shocked at the response. MC has indeed been deliberately avoiding FF because of his family. MC feels awkward at the presence of FF and prefers not to have anything to do with her as much as possible. The curios friends found out that FF would sometimes invite MC to dinner at her home, which he finds odd as both of them are married. Of course, he would turn the invitations down. Allegedly, MC heard rumors that all is not well at her household and he fears that his name might be dragged in case the rumors turn out to be true.
One time, MC’s kids started asking why FF keeps sending messages or calling him. The kids are maturing and capable of discerning answers. MC does not want to be misinterpreted, as he and FF shared something special in the past. The kids became inquisitive because FF would contact MC during their family time, lunch, or even siesta. The timing seems obvious. Thus, rather than create speculations at home, MC would rather stay far from FF. At this point in his life, MC will prioritize his wife and kids over everything, even his career.
The curious friends got their answer and thus, no longer pursued the possibility that MC and FF would join hands even for a worthy cause.

Ensuring Her Future

When her usual lifestyle was disrupted by the stoppage of businesses due to the pandemic, Artistic Entrepreneur (AE) found herself questioning her financial future. Sometime ago, AE earned much due to her undisclosed private activities. Earnings coming from her alleged transactions enabled her to support her lifestyle and not depend on her wealthy family. However, these transactions made her distance herself from Influential Elder (IE). IE advised AE to fix her dealings and even seek medical counsel, but the pleas were unheard. AE’s current projects were put on hold as well, given that customer priorities changed as a result of the virus.
As time passed, AE realized that IE can provide her financial security in the future. However, to ensure that plan, she needed to swallow her pride and reach out to IE. After all, the ones who have turned their backs will never gain favor from anyone. The time during the pandemic made AE think about many things about her life and IE. Hence, she followed what was right and once again, she’s back in IE’s graces. All’s well that ends well, and AE’s finances secure.

Unexpected End

When they started, MC and FT seemed an unlikely couple. Although they moved in the entertainment industry, their paths were in different directions. Nonetheless, they managed to achieve their career goals and being together was a bonus. Their fans hoped that they would indeed settle down. Their families were supportive, too. Their social media would often show photos of each other’s families having the best time with them. Friends were supportive as well. As for bashers, they’re always around and will always react negatively despite the genuine happiness shown in front of them.
Time can be mean and its length does not guarantee a forever. Allegedly, MC and FT had a heart-to-heart talk over the weekend and the outcome was their parting of ways. The reason for their separation can only be speculated. One factor could be they might have changed throughout their relationship and realized that they have different outlooks in life. Rather than settle down now and separate later on, issues had to be addressed prior to any long-term and permanent decision. Another could be pressure coming from the pandemic. With no work and no clear end of the virus as well as lack of opportunities, pressure can strain the relationship.
MC and FT are hopefully old enough to accept that they’ve reached a dead-end in their relationship for now. However, time can also heal and who knows, this separation might even be temporary.
