Usually, residential buildings have tight security and are strict on allowing visitors. After sometime, residents would eventually notice familiar faces of fellow occupants and thus, new faces will always call attention. For a time, occupants of a residential building were puzzled at the unfamiliar young men riding in their elevator. The occurrences were becoming frequent. Naturally, the occupants started to wonder about security measures, as any one can be a potential criminal.
The concerned unit occupants made their concern known to the security office, who immediately revealed that the young men were visiting the pad of Versatile Entertainer (VE). The management of the building reached out to VE to ask if he was conducting some business matters in his unit and he was reminded that their building is purely for residential purposes. VE said that he is merely conducting a prayer meeting and assured the management that he and the boys are not doing anything wrong or illegal. Still, the security personnel could not believe that VE was holding an exclusive all-male prayer meeting.
However, one day, VE had to call the maintenance, as his toilet was clogged. When the maintenance man tried to determine the cause, he was shocked that condoms were blocking the toilet flow. Quickly VE told the maintenance man not to reveal what he discovered and gave a huge amount for tip in the hope that the man would indeed not say anything.
Later on, the homeowners called a meeting. A Neighbor (AN) of VE raised the issue of the numerous boys coming in and out of VE’s unit. AN was told that VE was holding prayer meetings. AN was surprised and said that never had they heard prayer chants. All they heard were noises of cursing, drinking, and even moaning.
An officer of the association relayed the outcome of the meeting to VE and said that he should limit his visitors, as a complaint has already been raised. VE, who hates having his preference questioned, obeyed the request. Moreover, he does not want to become involved in an issue, much more in a scandal. Thus, VE did more than merely obeying. He found a different venue. Although expensive, booking a hotel room would give him more freedom to do what he wants and with whom during his ‘prayer meetings.’
