Love is a powerful emotion that can indeed leave a lover blind to the faults of the other. However, one incident finally changed the mind and heart of Understanding Celebrity (UC) and she did what was unthinkable at the height of their relationship – dumping Her Lover (HL).
Long before she became famous, UC had a young girl’s crush on HL and admired him from afar. HL already had a name and reputation back then. By contrast, UC was trying to build her career.
Soon after, the universe conspired, as UC met HL, and they hit it off. This time, both had celebrity status and their relationship was becoming a goal for ordinary folks. They looked good together and UC was very much in love with HL. Her eyes sparkled when his name was mentioned and he was always with her in events.
Despite his name, HL’s career was not moving anywhere. Thinking that being with UC might lead to endorsements, nothing happened. Moreover, his career did not really take off, as the breaks did not come. Subsequently, he lost interest and devoted his time to be with UC.
UC, knowing that HL was not as financially secured during the time of their relationship, started to devise ways for him not to be embarrassed when they were together. It’s not that HL was poor, his family got tired of supporting him and said that it was time for him to work. Whenever the two would be overseas, UC did not want to be seen as the one who was always paying, and thus, she gave him a supplementary card. One time, as he used the supplementary card to pay for their dinner abroad, he was declined and that happened in front of UC. He maxed out his limit and UC had to pay for the night.
Nonetheless, their relationship was far from ideal, even if UC tried her best. Allegedly, HL could not contain his womanizing ways. Thus, finances and women were issues that rocked their relationship. Whenever they would break up, UC would find herself calling HL and a bout in bed forgave everything. The cycle continued until that incident.
As UC has her career to think about, she accepted job opportunities that required her to go to many places. Leaving HL, she had set rules and the major one was no drinking in their shared pad. He can drink in bars, but he’s not allowed to have any friend to have a sleepover at their place. UC is very keen on the neatness of their unit.
One time, UC called up HL and he said he was in the condo. The background was too noisy and UC had to find out. She called their helpers and they said that HL had friends over for a party. UC kept quiet and avoided confrontation with HL. Alas, one offense that she no longer forgave was when she found out that HL had a female companion spend the night in their unit. Worse, HL and that woman did it on UC’s bed. The mere idea that her boyfriend fooled around on her bed was too much, and soon, UC kicked out HL for good. Love could not do anything anymore.

Although homosexuality is accepted by many sectors, coming out is another issue as far as celebrities are concerned. Local talents are expected to conform with society’s image, which means denying one’s self. While a handful of celebrities have come out, the risk was quite high. Many lost most gains in his/her career and took much time to be accepted again. Still, a number chose to be private.
Ever since Cute Talent (CT) had photos and videos of his private moments come out and tagged as “scandals,” questions on his sexuality seemed unstoppable. Thus, when asked about rumors on his sexuality, CT would just shrug off the questions and comments, and move on. After which, some netizens would already interpret the posts of CT, and he would just call them his bashers.
However, rumors on the sexuality of CT refuse to die down and another one is making its way into the grapevine. Allegedly, CT’s latest partner is a wannabee from a talent search. Like CT, Assumed Boyfriend (AB) also has his own scandal, which was made before he entered showbiz. However, in his press appearances, AB has distanced himself from the said scandal and thanked his handlers for seeking the truth.
Seeing CT and AB together would not create much connection, unless someone knows their similarity other than allegedly having the same location for certain photos and working out together in the gym.
