Can’t Be Too Dependent

The dependence on a strictly-prescription drug has reached a very high level in the life of Volatile Actress (VA). Sometime ago, VA was prescribed the drug for a health reason, but taking it has made her dependent. Thus, when she ran out, she had to take action.
VA has always been subject of rumors concerning her alleged dependence on certain substances. However, VA has kept mum about it, but changes in her physical state are interpreted as the result of taking too many meds. Kibitzers are quick to point out that the alleged dependence has affected her work and has kept her career stagnant. Moreover, malicious rumors even say that substances might have already affected her thinking.
When the day came and VA realized that she ran out her meds, she rushed to a drugstore and asked for it. The clerk on duty asked for a prescription, which was protocol for such drug, which is used to treat psychological issues. Instead of showing a prescription, VA asked the clerk if she does not look familiar at all. Then, she said that she’s famous and has political connections, and those reasons are enough for the pharmacy to sell her the meds she needs. The clerk was not moved.
VA had no choice, but to get and show her prescription. The clerk looked at the paper and said that the number has already been dispensed. She should get another prescription if she wants to buy the meds. VA started becoming hysterical and people’s attention were caught. As soon as VA noticed people were taking videos, she lashed at them and said that they are invading her privacy and she will sue them. Thus, the onlookers stopped and let her be. VA continued with her rant, but the clerk stood ground on having a valid prescription. VA left.
Prescriptions usually indicate the dosage of the drugs listed. Thus, VA would have a hard time explaining to her doctor why she would need a new one. Allegedly, VA was double-dosing on the meds, which explained why she consumed her stock quickly. Without a valid prescription, no pharmacy in the city would sell the meds to her. Thus, VA would go to the rural areas, but she can only buy the meds in a small amount, as she has no prescription. She also cannot ask a driver to buy the meds for her, as she has to do it herself. However, going outside the city can be tiring for VA. These days, VA has been needy and believes that only her meds can balance her normalcy.

EB likes to show his appreciation to his love interest by giving designer items. The more he enjoys the encounters in bed, the more expensive are the gifts. If he gets her to go down on him, he gives a designer bag. Thus, his partners have received gifts from him in varying degrees.
When EB was still with Young Actress (YA), he liked her so much that she received many designer bags from him, which also indicates the many times that she gave in to pleasure EB. Unfortunately, EB drifted away and YA was devastated. Out of spite and memory, perhaps, YA sold every gift she received from EB.
Another woman who got into the sheets with EB was Difficult Talent (DT). DT is different from the other women, as EB had a hard time in winning her. Thus, DT received only limited-edition designer bags. As pressure was too much on EB, he dropped DT. The bags, even if each one costs an arm and a leg, were burned to dust by a relation of DT.
The Third Example (TE) was a practical woman. Knowing the cost of each gift she received from EB, she kept all of them. She could not bear to part with the material side of those gifts.
Meanwhile, EB used to be smitten with Female Celebrity (FC), who also received gifts from him. As a couple, EB and FC have had their happy moments and they seemed to be gravitating toward each other to forever. Unfortunately, fate always has twists and turns. So, FC had to deal with the gifts, too.
FC did not want to burn or just give away the expensive things. FC called A Hander (AH) and gave instructions for the items to be sold. The proceeds will then be turned over to a charity organization. AH acknowledge the request. As AH has other responsibilities, he decided the best option possible, that is, to sell the items to people whom he thought would appreciate their material value.
AH contacted YA and asked if she’d be interested in designer bags. YA was so impressed that she told AH that he knows what she likes. Meanwhile, AH sold the jewelry to TE, who did not hesitate because the selling was for a worthy cause. Unfortunately, AH did not tell YA and TE the original owner.
A few weeks later, YA, TE, and FC were together in an event. FC was amused as she realized that YA and TE had no idea that she used to own those items. However, FC called AH, who said that he had no time to find other buyers and he wanted fast transactions. FC laughed so hard.
As YA and TE know EB, it was a matter of time for them to see each other. EB was surprised to see that each one seemed to be owning familiar pieces. Regardless of his shock, EB did not say anything and just thought that everything was just as similar as the ones he had given to FC.
