When OT found out the IM wanted to meet MC, she made sure things were arranged for the two to meet. IM had high hopes that he would be go home with MC after the party. OT was doing her pledge, while IM was trying to contain his excitement. The night was long, but he could wait.
After hours of waiting and anticipating, IM was stunned when MC ignored him and went on his way. Devastated, IM could not understand the reason behind the attitude of MC, who avoided him without any explanation. Nonetheless, IM persisted on finding out the truth and his resourcefulness revealed the reason MC avoided him that night.
As the party was happening, Celebrity Host (CH) bumped into MC and started being chummy. They were having fun and having drinks, and then CH allegedly mentioned that he should stay away from IM. He even added that the reason why IM was thin was the result of an ailment. Naturally, this story made MC worried, as the spread of various diseases is real and he did not want to be exposed to whatever IM had according to CH.
When IM found out the lie and maneuvering CH did that night, he immediately told TL, who could not really do anything, as they want to remain cordial to every one they meet.
As the social circle is small, CH and IM would find themselves invited to the same parties. Instead of a confrontation, IM took the higher ground by simply avoiding CH. In one of the parties, IM’s heart started beating faster than usual because he saw MC was around. This moment was what he had been waiting for, as he could finally book MC. However, CH was around. This time, IM decided to get even and hit CH where he could not retaliate.
IM was determined to bring MC home and thus reached deep into his pocket and offered him an amount that was too hard to resist. This offer infuriated CH who had already booked the services of MC, but the amount was barely half of the offer of IM. Unlike a few years ago, the career of CH has remained at a standstill, which meant his finances are not as impressive now. So, when he found out that IM doubled the booking fee of MC, he could not make a counter offer. For this round, IM won with lots of cash to spare.
