Making the Rest Perplexed and in Awe

Many ways have been played up to gain fame in the entertainment industry. Sometimes, a comment from a celebrity could call attention and be the subject of several columns for many weeks. Thus, the celebrity is sometimes forced to respond, which prolongs the issue. In other instances, stories are given spins to highlight a certain actor or actress. Regardless of the issue, the attention adds to make the said celebrities more popular. As the cliché goes, “there is no good nor bad publicity.”

However, other methods to gain fame are sometimes deemed unintentional. Although no one has really admitted to the reason behind such action, the proliferation of naked selfies or even self-gratification videos have become popular that several sites have been devoted to compiling these alleged leaked material into cyberspace.

When a celebrity is caught off-guard with a sensitive personal video that suddenly spreads faster than gossip online, he/she would usually deny that he/she was indeed the one in the video. Yet, people would still insist that the video is real and that the said celebrity should not deny the truth. Only when a sex video is very obvious would a celebrity admit to being the one in the said video. Admission comes at a price, especially if a celebrity is being built up with a wholesome image.

Sometime ago, a Fast-Rising Celebrity (FR) was alleged to be the personality in a controversial video. Naturally, the video moved from one device to another and from one site to the next. When FR was confronted with the alleged video, his reaction was surprising. He did not deny nor admit that he was the one in the video. Jokes were even made that FR had more to show than what was presented in the alleged video. Perhaps, it was a matter of having it and flaunting it out to the public.

While such occurrence should end with FR’s reaction, the grapevine is abuzz that the alleged leakage was intentionally planted and was part of a greater scheme. Someone wanted to increase the stock of FR within the benefactor community. As soon as a wealthy benefactor notices the assets of FR and becomes interested, then FR could be up for grabs depending on the price. FR could perform and impress the client. Like a chain reaction, when FR hooks up with an influential benefactor in the entertainment industry, the potential for FR to be further built up widens. Luckily, FR got the attention he wanted and correspondingly, the projects that could go with it.
