Between Two Engaging Actors

When Homebound Hunk (HH) joined a Big Network (BN), he became very close with alleged Closeted Talent (CT). CT, whose entry into BN was met with minor controversy, kept his true self hidden because he was being molded into a matinee idol. Thus, CT was paired off with several female talents, but BN could not get the right match, and CT seemed to be mature for them. Still, BN did not lose hope in building up the career of CT, who has strong connections with influential people. BN, of course, valued these people and the least the station could do is try to jumpstart the career of CT.

As time passed, the career of CT could not take off, while HH has managed to create minor events that caused him a bit of attention. Other than coming home with a college degree, BT seems to be making more sense compared to his contemporaries. However, given that he joined showbiz, his career is geared towards entertaining. Similar to CT, the career of HH seems stagnant. After a few praises for portraying marked roles, nothing much was heard of the career of HH. His stint in a fashion event seemed to have been talked about more compared to his acting. Still, BN did not let go of HH.

Recently, BN released its plans for the career of HH, which included being paired off with Artistic Personality (AP), who has the talent but could not seem to attract the box-office gain. Thus, HH began spending time with AP, and CT felt that he was being left out.

 
To alleviate his frustration, CT shifted his devotion to Model Actor (MA). MA, who has had controversial relationships reciprocated the attention given to him by CT. When HH found out, he confronted MA, and out of their tiff, neither would want to work with the other. Prior to working out at the same gym, MA would cancel his schedule if he found out HH was there. The same would be done by HH, who could not stand the presence of MA. Meanwhile, CT is amused at being fought over by the two men. Perhaps, HH and MA know how good a lover CT is. For now, CT has literally moved on, while HH is concentrating on his partnership with AP.

Repost: Billy Joe Crawford Clarifies Story on Allegedly Being Jailed in Hong Kong

A report came out last week about rumors that television host and singer Billy Crawford was arrested in Hong Kong. 

A tabloid claimed that he had to spend a night detained at a police station after punching a man who groped his girlfriend, actress Coleen Garcia, during a Halloween party held at a bar in Hong Kong's Harbour City last October 31. 

In an interview with reporters on Tuesday, Crawford denied that he was arrested, and clarified that he only cooperated with local authorities who brought him in for questioning. He also maintained that he did not punch anyone. 

"Hindi po ako nakulong. Kasi kung nakulong ako, hindi ako makakabalik sa Pilipinas -- I'd be deported to the United States, " said Crawford, who is also an American citizen. "But may kaguluhan na nangyari dahil nabastos si Coleen and it was a verbal altercation between someone there and me." 

The "It's Showtime" host furthered: "Good thing, iyong medyo shungang tao na nambastos kay Coleen ay ginawa niya sa harapan ng pulis. So nakita ng pulis." 

"The thing about the Hong Kong police is that they're very, very strict. Kahit iyong pinakamaliit na magsigawan kayo sa street, puwede kang i-question or i-hold for statements." 

Crawford added that he was only trying to protect his girlfriend. 

"For me, I had to protect Coleen. Kababaeng tao, ayaw ko naman mabastos siya. Pero hindi ako nakipagaway, hindi ako nanuntok, hindi ako nasuntok. Walang gulo.

"As in masuwerte na lang kami and the police were there, and sila iyong nag-handle ng situation, which was the proper way of doing it. And if it's done in another country, you have to abide and respect the rules of that country so we were just complying." 

Crawford was speaking after a press conference announcing his brand new project, a five-episode reality series called "The Ultimate Brocation" that will be shown on entertainment and sports channel Kix starting December 14. 

It follows Crawford, along with three other famous Southeast Asian personalities, namely Malaysian hip-hop artist SonaOne, Thai DJ and host P.K., and Singaporean celebrity chef Bjorn Shen, as they storm Hong Kong's famed tourist spots without their "girlfriends."
