Just Lacking Seriousness with Her Opportunities

Whenever a network gives an opportunity to shine to its talents, only a number turn out to be successful. To make sure that the rate of success is high, networks continue to air programs that test the talents of potential stars or teleseryes that let the audience know if a talent has what it takes to be the network’s star.

One gauge of the potential of a newbie to become a highly sought after talent in a network is the gap between each project he/she has been given. Usually, a network will give a break to the one or a loveteam the management deems ready. If good feedback is obtained, then such talents will definitely have increased exposure.

In one of the bigger networks, Homegrown Newbie (HN) has been in the roster of potential stars for quite a time, as she started quite young. Over the years, HN managed to acquire a respectable number of followers who have consistently used social media to make sure her name continues to have recall. In fairness, the network even gave HN a break in one of the flagship shows and continues to include her in supporting roles in various projects. Nonetheless, HN’s career in not moving as expected.

Despite her slowly building a name for herself, which implies that she is already recognizable, HN has not been mindful in making sure that she exhibits commendable behavior in public. Sometime ago, HN was rumored to be a constant visitor in the pad of her Former Non-Showbiz Boyfriend (FB). FB and HN would allegedly lock themselves in his room for hours. What happens in their private moments could only be imagined. At some point, HN would even sneak from her commitments to

be with FB.

So now, after HN’s relationship with FB, she has been seen hanging around with Male Contemporary (MC), whom she bonded with because of their common experience in doing a similar project. HN and MC were seen entering a condominium somewhere in the same city as their network. Both were touch-feely and not bothered with people around them. However, while both are single, MC has been seriously courting Someone Else (SE) for over a year. Thus, seeing HN and MC too close for comfort shocked those who knew of his dealings.

The way HN is behaving with her alleged relationships might not be good for her image. After all, fans can react so much if they are not supportive of the love interest. MC, in this case, is not even a household name. As for HN, her love affairs might be distracting her from seriously devoting attention to her career, which could be a reason why the network is not giving her the breaks. With her number of years in the business, she should already be taking more significant roles in highly publicized projects. However, her fans could not do anything but ask if she will ever get to have a marked role in a good project.
