An Opportunity to Love That Might Lead to Further Distraction

Among the present talents of various networks, only a few have made the successful transition from child star to adult performer. As children, cuteness can be a factor in popularity, but cuteness wanes as one reaches puberty, which is the stage when physical changes start to emerge. Thus, a child performer could either retire from the entertainment industry or continue with a career tackling mature roles.

Although no parent would declare it, some have actually transferred the burden of the financial needs of a family to the child performer. Thus, the child has so much pressure to make sure the family’s needs are met. At the beginning, the child will always be obedient to the parent, who has succeeded in making the son or daughter believe that he or she is a star. The innocent child will only think of tapings as a form of enjoyment, not employment.

When Gorgeous Talent (GT) started her career, people knew that she was in the business to alleviate the financial condition of her family. In short, GT was already the breadwinner of the family. Given good looks and talent, GT was taken care of by her network quite well. Puberty has been kind to GT and her looks could give a number of female stars a run for their money. Loyalty pays for talents of the network, and thus, GT was blessed with projects and exposure.

Sadly, GT seems to be distracted and changed by love. When actions showed the special relationship between GT and Non-Showbiz Hunk (NH), the public loved GT more. NH was seen to be humble, unassuming, and confident of himself. He was busy in his own field, whereas GT was building her career. Thus, insecurity concerning careers was not an issue. The issue, rather, was focused on the changes that GT manifested.

During her alleged relationship with NH, GT was already served various opportunities by her network to shine. Thus, all GT had to do was focus on her responsibility as a talent in her projects. Unfortunately, liaisons with NH risked everything that GT had worked for as well as potential endeavors. Worse, GT allegedly learned to lie and answer back her parents just so she could be with NH. Instead of having an amiable personality, GT was irritable, which made her sometimes difficult to work with.

Just as when everything seems to be going well, NH broke off the relationship with GT. Immediately, comments revolved that NH’s leaving was seen as payback for GT’s disobedient behavior. Although, coincidence could be a better word, what was sure was that it was over between NH and GT. Finally, GT would not have any distraction and thus, she could finally focus on her career. Alas, it was too early to make such predicament. When Effective Talent (ET) realized GT was single, he started sending feelers to GT, and GT acknowledged that ET was indeed attempting to impress her. Now, the family of GT is again worried that she might be distracted and thus, remiss her responsibility as breadwinner.
