A Secret Affair, A Secret Deal

Sometime ago, a Popular Singer and actress PS was almost engaged to be married to her non-showbiz Boyfriend BF of many years. But sadly, and to everyone's shock, all those years just ended up in splitsville. No reason was given.
After the split, PS continued with her showbiz career, and BF with his. Not long after, BF who worked somewhere decided to stay in town for good and was reported to be exploring on a new path -- to head a showbiz enterprise. Not a few eyebrows were raised, questioning his fitness to embark on something that's such a far cry from his professional training.
Back to the present. The gossip mill has been on fire for days with a Star's TS damaging expose on her unsettled grievances versus the people she had trusted. Her word against theirs. Public was treated to a buffet of dizzying versions of the scandal. Everyone had seen the surface. But has anyone tried to scratch the bottom? Let us see.
Mrs. Career Woman MC who is close to showbiz powerful is allegedly "involved" with the now married BF who heads the enterprise. BF now does good business with MC who helps him ink transactions through her big connections. But their business dealings have been stepping on not a few toes who bear the brunt of being dislodged from their comfort zones the moment they try to question MC and BF. The scheme allegedly had been grossly disadvantageous to the people involved such that those who could not stand the heat, chose to get out of the kitchen before they get burned. But the rest -- the "no choice" ones, just grin and bear it.
But not the one stubborn antagonist SA whose many interests are in grave conflict with both MC's and BF's. SA who is the principal author of the major chaos within the organization, had allegedly secretly manipulated everything by conveniently using a "dummy" to expose and shame MC and BF -- while she watched. The astute SA who has her own gigantic family issue as well, tried to soften the blow by focusing on the affairs and dealings of MC and BF. How clever!
And TS, the gullible dummy, who is like a basketball dribbled back and forth, is the one most heavily wounded in this spectacle. Will she be able to bounce back after the game? We will watch.

Will This News Set His Direction?

Fresh off the source is the news that a young character actor (CA) is going to be a Daddy soon! While CA is a total package to make it big - looks, talent, and intensity, he is without a doubt always a magnet for scandals and intrigues. Notwithstanding, being hounded by talks of bad habits that had thwarted his career's positive trajectory. Many good opportunities that were supposed to land beautifully on his lap were lost in the process. His entry into showbiz was met with a big welcome owing to the fact that he comes from a family of thespians, who also answers to the label showbiz royalty. He did deliver in the beginning but as time went by, he allegedly fell into the habit that had greatly affected his performance and the family's professional image.
Now that talks are rife that he will be a father in a few months, will CA take his career more seriously this time and steer it into the right direction? Hopefully, he will be able to catch up with all the lost opportunities. It is never too late. Incidentally, CA has gone through a lot with the future mother (FM) of his child. Allegedly, FM was the one who got in the way of a network’s prized actress during an out of town taping, and was even threatened by the possibility that CA would drop her in favor of another actress who is now happily in the arms of a famous non-showbiz personality.
Hopefully, the arrival of his baby will bring more sense and direction into his life.

Spotted: Out on a Lightning Date?
Is all not well on the domestic fronts? Having a drink or two and sashimi were formerly controversial actor (FC) and forever disputable performer (FD). Although both have current love interests, a non-showbiz woman and a talented low profile actor for FC and FD, respectively, one cannot help but wonder why they are together, and without their respective partners.
Since FC bolted out of the network, this year seems to have started better for him. His picture is so visible along the major street of the metro, and his action teleserye is now moving. Meanwhile, FD's last soap did not pull in the expected ratings, and people pointed to the negative publicity of her disrespectful attitude as one of the factors for the lacklustre interest in her.
Are FC and FD establishing ties and finding comfort with each other? Is FD asking for superhero tips as rumors have it that she might play a heroine? Has FC fallen for the reputation of FD and vice versa? Will FD’s network use this “meeting” for publicity for FD knowing that there seems to be a silent ban on FC's presence? Worse, will her network reprimand FD on dating FC? Let’s wait…

Could it be her Karma?

Lady 1 (L1) and Lady 2 (L2) were both products of different talent searches. Lady 3 (L3) was network homegrown, belonging to one of showbiz's industry pillars. Unlike L1, L2, and L3, L4 started as a child actress, and remained loyal to her network.
Initially, L1 and L2 were close buddies because they both came from the south and shared a common mother tongue. They bonded together and shared the deepest of secrets. Sometime ago, Hunk A (HA) came into the picture. HA must have been smitten with L2 that he kept inviting her out on a date. L2 was flattered by the attention but kept refusing HA's advances as she knew he was in a relationship with L4 at that time. However, owing to HA's charm and persistence, L2 was won over in due time. They finally had a romantic dinner date. L4 the cat, who must have been out of the country at that time, didn't know that HA the mouse would play around.
Like a giddy schoolgirl, L2 told L1 what happened and that HA was sort of courting her. L1 advised her not to fall for him out of respect for L4. Fortunately, L2 listened to L1, and both agreed to keep it a secret between them. Later on, L1, L3, and L4 were with each other’s company, and had fun time together during a network tour abroad. Suddenly, for unknown reasons, L1 spilled the beans on L2 and told L4 their secret!
As soon as they got back to the country, enraged L4 immediately called and confronted L2, and a verbal tussle ensued. L2 would not let L4 get her way, and she,too,retaliated. Soon after, L2 was on the phone confronting L1 for betraying her, not keeping their pact about the secret. It got worse such that L1, L3, and L4 ganged up versus L2, who bravely stood her ground.
Fast forward…enter Hunk B (HB). L1 used to be in a kind of secret relationship with HB which they belatedly admitted only after they broke up. HB moved on and got linked to several showbiz and non-showbiz females. Meanwhile, L1 got linked to her current screen partner (SP). L3 however has the most colorful lovelife among them. Lately, the rumor mill is abuzz that L3 and HB are together. Nothing wrong as others are wont to say since both are single. However, L1 is reacting, feeling that L3 betrayed her.
Observers think that L1 and L3 are merely doing this as a publicity stunt to gain interest in their show. Yet, some believe that L1 is still not over HB. While L3 does not exactly appear “saintly” as far as her relationships are concerned, L1 is projecting an underdog image -- that one who got betrayed. Well, can someone please remind her the day she, too, betrayed L2?
Karma may not happen instantly, but when it does, it hits you like a thief!
