Handsome actor (HA) is truly blessed these days. After a network gave him the biggest break in his career, he now has a stable career and fame that made him a household name. For HA, it is not all looks that worked for him as he is a very talented actor, and thus, deserves all the opportunities given by his network.

The network is pairing off HA with a young actress, but it seems that she is more interested in another actor in real life. Nonetheless, HA really does not need to have a constant screen partner as he can very well carry projects on his own merit. However, behind the spotlight are rumors that HA is someone’s special talent, which is the reason why he is allegedly well taken care of.

The latest twist in the affairs of HA is the involvement of another network executive (NE). NE has allegedly been dealing with a builder for a certain area for a house. NE was very particular with the specifications of the project, hence, the assumption that the construction was for NE’s home. To the surprise of everyone, the project was not for NE, but for the kitchen of HA's home in a plush village.

So, what is the relationship of NE and HA? Is NE merely helping out HA or is there something in return? Is the alleged original benefactor of HA aware of this? Truly, HA is reaping the fruits of his labor as not only one network executive is fretting over him.

Question: Is She the New One?

While the news has been perky with all the tragedies and political events, a popular public figure has successfully kept his latest date out of the public eye. This beautiful lady is well-educated, and comes from a reputable family down south. While they have had a couple of times together, it was always with a group of friends, hence, no one noticed anything different in his behavior.

 Is she the one giving him inspiration now? Does this mean he won't have a cold Christmas after all?

After her controversies this year, the camp of troubled actress (TA) has remained silent. For the past few months, there were rumors that TA was attempting a comeback in one network, but the network has denied such would ever happen. It seems that the it cannot find space for TA in their series of highly acclaimed soaps. Of course, TA's damaged reputation and her abrupt departure from the network did not help at all, too.

Amidst the controversies, which mostly placed TA in the lead role, her partner (HP) always did his best to protect their name and reputation. Any lesser man would have packed up his bags and left TA, but HP is different. He is sticking it out with her, if only for the children and their marriage.

One of the controversies that really put TA's reputation in question was her connection with a controversial figure (CF). CF is noted among high rollers, and thus, stories of alleged sightings of TA and CF in such places came out. TA kept quiet and even denied anything was happening between them. Then, by chance, a TV crew caught TA in a highly emotional situation. Since a huge sum was involved, some people immediately
connected the money to CF. After a few days, TA and HP never spoke of the incident again.

While TA and HP are embroiled in their controversy and have kept quiet about it, seeing their family together made people wonder if CF was really out of the picture already. Now, an FP reader is asking the same question, is CF really out of TA's life? Well, apparently not. The same reader spotted TA in the resort  up north allegedly owned by CF. What was TA doing there? Does HP know that TA spent time at the resort? Finally, will TA ever make a successful rebound of her career?

The Loser Took It All

Mr & Mrs Wholesome couple M&M have a squeaky clean public image. However just like most of us, they, too have couple disagreements and spats. One of the issues Mrs W against Mr W is his rumored ex-girlfriend EX whom he is still allegedly seeing and being f buddy with even after they got married.

Unknown to him, she had the matter and the girl privately investigated. Mrs W had grown so smart through the years that she was with him. All relevant data with regard to the investigation were put in place, including the most important of them all - EX's photos.

Fast forward to present. M&M are very busy in each other's showbiz commitments that even finding time for a date or night-out seems a struggle. Then one lucky day, both suddenly found they're free and out they went on a dinner date. It was a special evening since it's been a long while that they haven't done it. While inside the restaurant, a group of girls approached Mr. W and requested to have
pictures with him. M&M obliged and everything went fine. Then suddenly, Mrs W felt that something was not right. One of the girls caught her attention. The girl looked quite familiar. She looked some more ... closer... then boom! Confirmed! The girl was EX, her hubby's f buddy!

Shocked and mad, Mrs W regained her composure and immediately walked out from her dinner date. Poor Mr W was at a loss, but decided to follow and ran after his wife. The restaurant staff looked at each other when they realized that the couple left without paying the bill. They lost no time and a waiter also ran to catch them. Can you imagine the scenario? Wife running from her husband, husband running after her, while waiter running after them? Poor Mr W had to stop and paid the bill in the most embarrassing fashion.

Moral of the story: Ignorance is bliss.

This male performer (MP) owes his success to second chances. When he joined a show to jumpstart his career, he lost in the early round. However, MP bounced back and emerged victorious because of an innovation that was introduced in the show. Since then, he has been recognized for his cool performance.

Just as his career was on plateau, he proclaimed to the world that he was in love with a voluptuous actress (VA). This news raised a lot of eyebrows because it was in the midst of the rumors that he was
hiding something. Besides, VA and MP had the same manager then, so people could not believe the story. After sometime, MP bolted out of the folds of his manager and started talking badly at how his career was managed. Of course, his former manager knew better and did not dignify the claims of MP.

Although the career of MP was marked for oblivion after he left his former manager and the ensuing intrigue after that, he managed to still keep his career afloat. MP is still around and is still a sought-after performer. However, the rumors are still rife, and his actions add credence to it. In a party celebrating the show of a
talented singer and dancer, MP was spotted dancing his heart out. It was as though MP had just gotten out of his closet, err, his cage, according to witnesses. Then, people noticed that he was doing more of girlie moves than the typical male dance moves. Is his action on the ledge a confirmation of the rumors? Do actions speak louder than words?

There are four pretty socialites, who are all part of Manila’s richest. Theirs maybe the life any girl may wish for -- the most expensive shoes, high-end designer bags, chauffeured cars and fabulous parties -- but behind the glitz and glamour are the struggles and differences that they are going through in their respective lives.

The spoiled-rich girl (SG) is such a bossy brat and often clashes with her closest friends. She's kind of bitchy, doesn't watch her words and whatever she does she always wants the media to be present for exposure. In a recent event, SG did her best to appear in a protest action because media was there covering it. She really is publicity hungry who wants everything magnified.

SG is friends with the daughter of an ex-politician (DP) whose assets were frozen, is still in denial and desperately wants to belong to the upper class society. How can she afford the luxuries in life she was so used to? And how long will she be able to cover-up her real financial status since she’s claiming that she’s still part of Manila’s elite?

And the last two are these daughters of former beauty queens who have had a long-standing unfriendly competition. Their interest seem to always intertwine. One of them (DQ1) was spotted at the Polo Club dating an all-around guy employee (GE) of the said exclusive establishment. But just very recently, it was (DQ2) who was spotted having a date with (GE). Do these girls prefer to risk everything, including their riches and reputation, not to mention the wrath of their parents for a guy like GE? Is GE into a win-win game, capitalizing on his looks to fish two lovely girls?

Well then...let's wait and see.

Letter from a Reader: Ooops! ... He Did It Again!

Dear Fashion PULIS,

Hi FP. I am an avid reader of your blog. I just want to share a story. We had the voices songs and rhythms during a festival 2012 held here in our province. I was part of the logistics team of the said event.

Our governor requested this perfomer PE to be one of the hosts of the event together with a beauty queen BQ. The call time was at 7pm, latest was 8pm. The event was star-studded with music industry veterans as judges, politicians and other stars. It was already 9pm but PE had not arrived yet because "traffic daw." The organizers had no choice but to start the program even without him.

We were very disappointed. PE didn't show any professionalism at all. The event was not his own show where he can afford to be late and be excused. Ours is a special gathering of people celebrating our festival. PE had no respect for people who trusted him enough to be part of this special occasion, most especially to our hardworking governor and the provincial staff who took great pains to make the event a big success. And also to our guests and performers, most of whom came all the way from Manila, too, and like PE had encountered traffic as well, but arrived way ahead of him. These were the people na pinaghintay nya.

BQ also had a hard time hosting because the script was written for both her and PE. People said that PE was complacent since he was close to our governor daw. But that is no excuse to abuse such closeness, if true. PE arrived around 9:30-10 pm already. Thanks, but really...no thanks!

Hope that next time he gets invited again, PE will be more professional and respectful of people.

Doubting Her Devotion

Haughty actress (HA) seems to be having a bad streak when it comes to love. After her marriage was annulled from her Don Juan of an ex-husband, she never seemed to be lucky in relationships since. Every time she finds the man of her dreams, from noted actor to foreigner businessman and to politician, love and peace seem to be elusive.

Finally, she found love with a political figure (PF), who maintains a low profile in the metropolis but is a well-known figure in one of the provinces up north. Similar to HA, PF has grown up children from his previous marriage. The sad thing about actresses getting into their nth marriage or hooking up with politicians or tycoons is that they are often stereotyped as gold-digging vixens. True enough, HA is pictured to be such by one of the children (OC) of PF. OC cannot be blamed for thinking that way as HA and PF had only been dating for less than a year when they got hitched.

Just like a scene from one of HA’s dramatic movies, OC went to the condo of HA for a meeting with her stepmother. While both were still at the lobby, the meeting turned into a confrontation. Both HA and OC were shouting at each other! The guards at the condo were suddenly on red alert.

OC  was accusing HA of alleged ill motives, she screamed at her, “You’re fooling my father, and making 'kamkam' our wealth!” OC did not stop there and further added, “Look at you! You’re so fat,  fat!” Knowing HA, such insult will not go without a counter attack. However, all she could mutter was, “And you’re an ugly b%#ch!”

Poor HA, will her third one be lucky or will she strike out? Her consolation is that at least, her children are happily enjoying their settled lives. As for her first ex-hubby, well, he seems to have found a fountain of youth as his latest squeeze is even younger than his children.

Hold Your Horses, Dude!

At this time of the year, major television networks are busy with a thousand and one holiday events. One of those is usually a yearender affair, a gathering of its stable of stars.

During such network's event held recently, a male singer MS was furious upon seeing what looked like trash placed on his dressing room area. Immediately he posted this photo and message on his social networking site. The one whom he was alluding to, a fast-rising actor FA read the message and quickly approached MS and said, " Bro, I didn't intend to put trash on your dressing room area. I just left it there for the meantime because I had to hurry out for something important. But I sure will return to get it, like right now. "

MS was obviously embarrassed. Apparently, he didn't ask around first, and instead used his networking site to whine and rant publicly over such petty stuff.

Incidentally, in relation to our past BI days ago about a teleserye actor TA whose soap was cut short due to his uncontrollable attitude, TA was also in that recent network event. He was not in his usual demeanor. Some of his co-stars noticed that he was clearly under the influence. It was also in that affair where he saw his "ex-girlfriend" being escorted by another man -- he felt broken again. He couldn't take it, and before his fellow stars could notice, TA walked out of the event immediately.

For TA: Fame can be toxic, reform while you still can.

Teach Me How to Act!

A pretty actress PA was said to have flared up while shooting for her latest tv commercial. She was behaving badly like arriving very late in the shoot, as in 3 hours late! But that is not to be the gist of the story -- rather it was when she staged a walkout right in the middle of the shoot!

PA's latest endorsement is a beauty product. Shoot for its tv commercial (tvc) was set for two days. On those days, she would often come in late, and not in her best element. Of course, PA's demeanor took a toll not only on the project's logistics, but on the entire production as well. PA's every scene took several takes that stretched shooting time far too long, but not on her patience. She blew her top in the middle of the shoot, questioning everyone involved why the hell she had to do so many retakes of a scene.

Until she could no longer take it, went berserk and screamed (in tagalog) for all to hear, "I am not dumb! Do not make me dumb! I was a child star, been in this business far too long than anyone of you! We have done 25 retakes already for this one scene alone! This is stupid!"

All those present were horrified and panicked. And who wouldn't? The clients who were all foreigners were present in the shoot and witnessed all the commotion.

The feisty PA angrily added, " Tell those foreigners out there to come over here and make them do it infront of me! And be the one to teach me how to act! "

The poor staff wouldn't know what to do, and pleaded with PA that they had no choice but to do some more retakes, to the clients' satisfaction. It was then that PA walked out and left the set without a word. The horrified staff called PA's handler to get to her asap. The client was furious and threatened that if PA would not return, they will have to answer for everything and be made to pay for all the costs. Indeed, what PA did was a major production nightmare.

People are puzzled at her though. Not too long ago, she was a girl proclaiming to one and all how perfectly in love she was -- a walking doll in bloom. Then this?

This story is part of the previous bi posted here about a bloodied actor BA who is connected to a showbiz mover SM. BA and SM are linked together both professionally and personally.

For someone so young, BA's knowledge of the S word is quite huge. Turns out, a hunky model HM was the one who introduced and taught BA everything about the birds and the bees --- and much, much more. It was also with HM that BA did his 'practical' lessons about all the theories that he learned from him. Eversince BA had the awakening, it was never the same again. Having started early, and owing to his youth, BA is always hot and adventurous. He just can't resist the "call of the wild." He looks for it everywhere, and won't 't take no for an answer.

One day, during an out-of-town trip for a show's promotion where he was a part of, BA managed to escape from his group to answer a "booking" call. He met up with this cute chinese-looking guy CG who became his instant crush. Together they checked-in a hotel to consumate their intimacy. Throughout the entire engagement, BA was performance level for his crush. He made no stones unturned for CG's pleasure, as he really did not want to disappoint him. BA even allowed himself to be backdoored. It was so fierce and intense, and CG seemed to like it. When they were done, BA went back to his companions who were all bewildered with his whereabouts earlier. But BA acted very normally, making his group feel as if nothing happened.

But unknown to him, this CG is a model who turns out to have several showbiz friends, too, with whom he shared with his encounters with him. Oh well, in a world where they live, keeping anything a secret is like asking for the moon. Agree?
